I stayed at Ne no Hana at Otoiroka no Toki once a long time ago, and because all Rooms are separate villas with spacious, relaxing interiors, I chose to stay again after a round of golf. I was very satisfied with the thoughtful service from the staff. The meals were also excellent, and it was great that additional dishes could be ordered separately. Above all, the head chef personally came to greet us and brought homemade pickles—I enjoyed them so much that I asked for seconds three times. The way the natural flavors of the ingredients were highlighted while still being refined deserves high praise. This Accommodation is highly recommended for anyone who wants to spend quiet, private time. At check-out we were seen off, and it was my first time ever to be personally seen off by the head chef as well. His smile was wonderful and made me want to come back again without hesitation. Since I’m a big foodie, I tend to rate an Accommodation based on its meals; from the very first dish I felt confident it would be great—and in fact I returned to my Room completely full and satisfied. I hope to stop by again around early autumn. Thank you very much for everything.

From the open-air bath on the balcony, we could see the ocean and relax while listening to the sound of the waves. The Onsen water felt silky and pleasant, and it left my skin looking great. My husband, who used to dislike Onsen, ended up loving it. The portions at dinner and breakfast were so large that it was overwhelming—though it might be perfect for big eaters.

The Room view, the Onsen, and the meals were all excellent! There are sightseeing spots near Mt. Aso, so the location was great and it was truly wonderful!!

The location was truly great, and we had a wonderful time! We added the breakfast buffet at check-in, and it was delicious with a wide variety of options—we really enjoyed it! However, the Room shower had a push-button system, and the hot water stopped very quickly, which was difficult. Other than that, everything was clean and easy to use, and we had a really great stay!

I used a whole house rental property for the first time. The property was clean and well-maintained, and I was surprised to find that all the facilities and amenities were fully equipped. We used it with three generations, including children and grandchildren, and unlike a hotel, we could all stay in one room. The little children could run around without causing any inconvenience, and we were able to relax completely. Since we checked in after having dinner, we made a campfire and enjoyed s'mores. The campfire was fun, and the s'mores were delicious, and even the adults were completely absorbed in the enjoyment. The next morning, we enjoyed the beautiful scenery that we couldn't see the day before. Although this time we only used it for sleeping, I would love to stay longer next time and have a barbecue!

I stayed here during my trip to Miyazaki. On the first night, I stayed at a different Hotel, and from the second day onward, I stayed here. Last year, we stayed in a container house by the sea in Nichinan, Miyazaki, where the ocean was right in front of us and our kids were thrilled. This year, we searched for another place with a similar beachfront location and found this spot. The exterior of the building is charmingly white-themed with a handmade feel but still very clean. The kitchen was well-equipped with utensils provided, and there was even a washing machine along with detergent available. Instead of beds, there is a raised tatami area where everyone can lay out futons to sleep together. Since our family usually sleeps on futons at home, it felt perfectly natural for us. At night, the wooden deck is lit up beautifully with string lights. Sitting at the table while enjoying drinks or snacks and listening to the sound of waves made for an amazing experience. The surroundings are quiet; you can only hear the sound of waves. To get to the beach from here requires going down sturdy stairs that are safe even for children. The waves weren’t too high either; I didn’t notice many surfers—perhaps none at all—but there were one or two people fishing. I’d love to stay here again next year!
