Established in the 6th year of the Taisho era, this onsen property is situated atop a hill and surrounded by 50,000 tsubo of natural forest. With two types of hot spring sources, guests can enjoy a variety of baths with unique atmospheres, such as private open-air baths in the forest or large communal baths offering panoramic views of Sakurajima and Kinko Bay. In June 2026, a new attraction, “Sunamushi Onsen Kirisuna,” will open inside the Hotel. The in-house Facility offerings are also extensive, including a kids’ park and relaxation areas.
