Seta Station (Kumamoto Prefecture) × Highly rated facilities at Hotel·Ryokan

Despite being during the first half of Golden Week, it was under 10,000 yen per night with a large public bath and breakfast included, and the place was clean and comfortable. There is a dedicated parking area for motorcycles, but I wonder if they use car spaces when there are many bikes. It's an ideal location for exploring around Aso by bike, so I plan to stay here again next year.

It has already become a brand (at least for me). Reasonable price. This price includes a breakfast buffet. The location, like other AZ facilities, is conveniently situated in key areas. Necessary facilities are, of course, well-equipped.

I was happy that the staff spoke to me in a friendly way at check-in. The Room was clean, which made me feel at ease.

The check-in and check-out process was very easy to understand. The Room was relaxing, and the bedding was fluffy and very comfortable! The bathroom was not a unit bath, so it felt like taking a bath at home. There is a 7-Eleven and Hirai Bento nearby, which was convenient since you can also eat inside. I would like to stay again if I have the chance.

This was my first stay here. The Room was beautifully designed and very comfortable. The open-air bath, a rock bath kept at the perfect temperature, felt wonderful at any time, and there was also a reclining bath where I could truly relax. The Japanese garden was also stunning and helped me forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The meals used plenty of local ingredients and were delicious. All staff provided very courteous service, and I would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

It’s a fairly new Hotel, and the Room was spacious and comfortable. The toilet is separate, which made it very convenient. The complimentary breakfast was also quite substantial and delicious. I took the Airport Liner from Higo-Ozu Station to the airport, and since I could walk through the station from the north exit (where the Hotel is) to the south exit (where the bus stop is), I reached the stop in about two minutes. It was a hot day, but I could get there without breaking a sweat—very easy and convenient!

I stayed for 4 nights. With two meals included, breakfast starts at 5:30 a.m., and for an extra 1,000 yen you can enjoy one hour of all-you-can-drink in the evening—at this price, I haven’t found any other Hotel like it. I did get a bit tired of dinner toward the end, but I had no complaints. I was also surprised they even served sashimi. They offer an umbrella lending service, and if you choose not to have your Room cleaned, you receive an ASAHI beer as well. There was nothing to complain about at this Hotel. If I’m in the area again, I’ll stay here.

I was surprised at how big the bath was. It felt like being at my parents’ home, and I could really relax. Check-in felt a bit difficult.

We stayed here during Obon on August 15 with three generations—eight of us in total, including my daughter and three grandchildren aged 4, 3, and 1. The Accommodation had plenty of toys and books for the children, and they had a great time playing. The owner also gave them a rhinoceros beetle as a gift, which made them very happy. For meals, we rented BBQ equipment for 2,000 yen and enjoyed a barbecue. We thought we would need to start the fire ourselves, but the charcoal was already lit, so we could enjoy the BBQ with ease. The kids kept saying they wanted to stay here forever, so we’d love to come back if we have the chance!
