In the serene mountain valley of Yufuin, where the air is crystal clear, a new Property with detached accommodations has been established amidst a natural forest of lush greenery in varying shades. Opening the door to the forest reveals a space embraced by nature, with birdsong and arches of trees welcoming you.At "Kusayane no Yado Ryunohige / Bettei Yumuta," we warmly welcome only 10 groups of guests—5 in detached accommodations and 5 in the main building. While preserving the warmth of the historic building, all Rooms are river-view and equipped with beds, featuring body-friendly soft flooring. Amagase Onsen, one of the three major hot springs in Bungo, is popular as a skin-friendly beauty Onsen. For dinner, we prepare a colorful Japanese kaiseki meal that highlights the seasons, using mainly local Oita ingredients. Yunohira Onsen is a nostalgic hot spring town adorned with stone-paved streets and lanterns, taking you back in time to the charm of old Japan. Our inn is located atop the hill at the end of the stone-paved path. The accommodations include two detached Rooms with private indoor baths and one Room in the main building, totaling three spacious Japanese-Western style Rooms. The Onsen facilities feature a handcrafted Goemon bath and a stone bath, both available for private use. After soaking leisurely in the Onsen and strolling along the stone-paved streets, enjoy a traditional kaiseki meal featuring local Oita cuisine.
