On the premises, there are a total of nine types of baths, including seven private baths and separate large public baths for men and women. The private baths feature unique designs such as a dynamic open-air bath by the mountain stream, a barrel bath made from sake barrels, a cave bath with a waterfall shower, and baths made of cypress and stone, all utilizing high-quality natural hot spring water that can also be consumed. Dinner can be served in your Room. We offer a kaiseki meal featuring seasonal ingredients and premium Japanese beef. Our establishment features a main building that has been passed down for 170 years, originally relocated from a village headman's residence from the late Edo period. Tenryuso, with its long history, has been renewed as "Ryokan Tenryu" in the summer of 2023. It has been reborn as a gentle Property focusing on comfort in sleeping, bathing, and staying. While preserving the warmth of the historic building, all Rooms are river-view and equipped with beds, featuring body-friendly soft flooring. Amagase Onsen, one of the three major hot springs in Bungo, is popular as a skin-friendly beauty Onsen. For dinner, we prepare a colorful Japanese kaiseki meal that highlights the seasons, using mainly local Oita ingredients.
