Oyama, the inner retreat of Tenryo Hita, is a scenic area blessed with the Hibiki Gorge and plum blossoms. We named this place “Okuhita Onsen” and our Ryokan “Umehibiki.”In this land where plums have been lovingly cultivated for generations, we cherish the plum blossoms and use the fruit to make umeshu (plum liqueur) and umeboshi (pickled plums). Tenryuso, with its long history, has been renewed as "Ryokan Tenryu" in the summer of 2023. It has been reborn as a gentle Property focusing on comfort in sleeping, bathing, and staying. Amagase Onsen, one of the three major hot springs in Bungo, is popular as a skin-friendly beauty Onsen.
