Oyama, the inner retreat of Tenryo Hita, is a scenic area blessed with the Hibiki Gorge and plum blossoms. We named this place “Okuhita Onsen” and our Ryokan “Umehibiki.”In this land where plums have been lovingly cultivated for generations, we cherish the plum blossoms and use the fruit to make umeshu (plum liqueur) and umeboshi (pickled plums). Sansou Tenzui is nestled in a quiet setting slightly away from the center of Amagase Onsen.
