Maki Yama Station × Highly rated for dining at Hotel·Ryokan

The Facility is new, and I had a very pleasant stay. All the staff were kind, and the calm atmosphere was truly relaxing... The complimentary snacks in the refrigerator also helped soothe my fatigue from the extreme heat... I stayed on a Friday, and the bath was almost private, so I could relax and fully enjoy it. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. It was my first time staying at Dormy Inn, but I’d like to try other locations as well. Also, you should definitely add breakfast! The quality was beyond what you’d expect from a Business Hotel. Everything was carefully prepared and delicious. I’d love to stay again.

I stayed here while attending a relative’s memorial service. This was my second year in a row staying here. The front desk staff were pleasant, and the meals were delicious. Thank you very much for your hospitality. I will stay here again when I visit Okayama.

We stayed one night in Okayama to spend some quality time together as a couple for the first time in a while. Our Room was a corner Room near the elevator with a great view. The Room felt a bit old, but it was well maintained and clean. We had planned to go out right away, but we ended up wanting to just keep enjoying the view. Breakfast was on the top floor, and the scenery there was different from what we saw from our Room, which was nice. The food selection included both Japanese and Western options, and they even had Kasaoka ramen—everything was excellent. We also appreciated having our photo taken. Since we chose a Plan with 12:00 checkout, we were able to visit a nearby exhibition while leaving our luggage at the hotel. We heard that the Rooms will be renovated next year, so we’re looking forward to seeing them after the renovation.

My first time in Okayama City. I stayed at the Hotel because I had dinner planned nearby with a friend who lives in Okayama. It was clean, and the shampoo and conditioner had even been refilled to the brim—I really appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail. Breakfast was a buffet, and the staff kindly explained each dish; I was very satisfied with the selection. Thank you very much.

With direct access to Okayama Station, it was convenient for both the Shinkansen and local trains. It was raining on the day of my stay, but they lent me an umbrella when I left my luggage before check-in, so I was able to enjoy sightseeing in Okayama. I would like to stay here again when I visit Okayama.

All Facilities were spotless. The lobby, Room, and front desk area were clean and spacious, and above all, the staff service was excellent. While there isn’t a wide variety, the amenities were more than sufficient, and the shampoo and other items were good as well. The Room has an accordion curtain that cannot be locked. The safe was large enough to easily fit a bag with no issues.

I believe it was the first day after the grand opening, and everyone at the Hotel provided wonderfully welcoming service—we are truly grateful. The meals featured plenty of Okayama specialties, and we enjoyed dining throughout. The Room and the large public bath were also clean and refined, making for a delightful stay. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches for our anniversary—it was an excellent Hotel. We would love to visit again!

It’s a bit far from the station, but Aeon is very close, so it’s very convenient if you go through Aeon. The Room was spacious and the air conditioning worked well. The Room also seemed to have been renovated, and the bathroom and toilet were clean, so I had a very comfortable stay. The morning meal had good Reviews, so I added it at the last minute, but it felt a little expensive. I used it after 9:00 and the banana cream was gone and wasn’t refilled afterward, which was disappointing. However, the bread and homemade yogurt were delicious. With Hotel rates rising recently, I was grateful to be able to stay at a reasonable price. I’d like to use it again next time.

A few months ago, I stayed here because I had a concert in Okayama and wanted a hotel close to the station. When I arrived, (1) the lobby had a calm atmosphere, (2) the staff welcomed me with polite service and bright smiles, and (3) both the meals and the room were excellent. I chose it mainly for the location, but it was not only convenient—it was comfortable and left me with wonderful memories. Because of that experience, when I decided to take a solo trip during Silver Week to relax, this was the first place that came to mind. I joined the morning yoga session because I regretted not trying it during my previous stay. I’m a beginner, but it was a really enjoyable time. I stayed for two nights and felt refreshed from morning to night both days. As always, everyone at the hotel greeted me with smiles, and I truly felt their warmth. There are many beautiful hotels out there, but this is one of the few places where I’ve genuinely felt such hospitality—an unforgettable memory for me. If I have another chance, I’d love to make an excuse just to come back and stay again.

Including the in-room amenities, everything felt even cleaner than I expected! The front desk staff were very attentive and considerate. I felt more comfortable staying here than at a newly opened place. I’d like to choose this property again next time. However, when I tried to use the kettle provided as a Room amenity, there was water inside even though it appeared unused, so I’m deducting one star for that. Other than that, I’m completely satisfied!

The room is compact and feels like a classic business hotel. Everything you need is provided, so there were no inconveniences. It also has a large public bath and sauna, and it’s a nice touch that breakfast and dinner are included in the service. (There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and a convenience store is close as well, so you shouldn’t have any trouble finding food.) That said, perhaps because the building is older, the rooms use physical keys, which you have to leave at the front desk when going out—this may feel a bit inconvenient. Still, for this price and level of service, I can recommend this property without hesitation.

I stayed here on a business trip. The Room is compact but functional, with no complaints. The bed was a larger queen size and very comfortable, so I slept well and could really relax. The welcome bar at dinner time had a wide selection of alcoholic drinks and soft drinks, and there was also a microwave, which was great—I could enjoy dinner with the bento and side dishes I brought in while having a drink. I also appreciated the Onsen public bath; I could check how crowded it was on the in-room monitor, so I could bathe comfortably without stress. Breakfast was delicious as well—especially the freshly baked bread, which was so soft and tasty that I wished I could buy some to take home. The staff responded quickly to my requests, which I thought was excellent. This was my first stay with the Super Hotel chain, but I would definitely choose it again for future solo business trips.

Conveniently located near the station. There was a large public bath, which I enjoyed as I like such facilities. A female staff member at the front desk made me feel more comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety of dishes, especially plenty of vegetables, and it was delicious. Just one thing: I gave a rating of 4 not because of any fault on the hotel's part but because I didn't check my accommodation plan carefully enough—it turned out to be a smoking room. Since I don't smoke, the faint smell of tobacco in the room bothered me. I'll make sure to check next time. Thank you for your hospitality!

I stayed for two nights. I was a bit worried after reading various Reviews, but... The streetcar stop is right in front, and it’s easy to get here from Okayama Station. The staff were courteous, and there were no issues with the amenities or the Room. There is a large public bath, and with dinner and breakfast plus a drink bar included, I was very satisfied with the service. I had a very comfortable stay. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

The Hotel itself was clean, and we were satisfied with the shower and amenities. However, due to the location, there is a nightlife district nearby with many drunk people, and we could hear police car sirens and police announcements, which made us feel uneasy about safety.

The front desk staff provided excellent service.

Conveniently located near Okayama Station, with a convenience store on the first floor, and the property itself is clean. We stayed in a twin room, and it was more spacious than expected, making for a very comfortable stay. Amenities are provided at check-in as needed, and I was happy to see DHC-brand shampoo and conditioner in the room. We also had breakfast: there was a wide variety of side dishes, regularly replenished in small bowls. Each item was individually wrapped for good hygiene, and the choose-what-you-like style made it easy to enjoy everything—delicious overall. It’s also great that Aeon Mall Okayama is within walking distance. My mother was very satisfied too and said she’d like to stay here again when we visit Okayama.

Korakuen Garden and Okayama Castle, both within walking distance from the Hotel, were illuminated at night. They were very beautiful. Breakfast was also very satisfying. Thank you very much for offering such a reasonable stay.

Although this is an extremely streamlined Hotel, the staff are helpful. Best of all is the breakfast—you should definitely book with breakfast included. In any case, it’s right in front of the station, so it’s convenient for getting around. The bed is spacious and great for relaxing.

I woke up, took a shower, and had a meal—just like any usual day, but I didn’t feel tired at all. The Hotel was very comfortable. Starting the day well makes the whole day GOOD!!! Also, breakfast was truly wonderful—everything was delicious. Thank you very much.
