Interpreting Setouchi and Uno in our own way, we have composed an introspective space through custom-built furniture, antiques, music, and books. This is an in-town retreat—not for showing off to others, but for reconsidering your connection with yourself and the place, and for letting sensory, poetic feelings quietly mature.In other words, this is not a luxury Facility: there are no lavish meals or staffed services. There is no TV in the Room. And because we have preserved the structure of a Showa-era house, it may be somewhat less comfortable or insulated than modern homes.
