Izumo-shi Station × Highly rated for rooms and amenities at Hotel·Ryokan

You can warm up thoroughly in the sauna, cool down properly in the cold plunge, and fully relax in the recovery area. In addition, amenities are well stocked, including toothbrushes, razors, exfoliating scrub towels, salted candies, an ultra-cold water dispenser, and ice. The Room is also spacious with a great view—very satisfying.

I stay here every time I visit Izumo. I knew there was a washing machine and dryer in the changing room, but I assumed they were mainly for long-term guests. This time, my clothes got dirty due to an unexpected issue and I was in trouble—then I remembered the laundry facilities and used them for the first time. The washing machine is free, and the dryer costs 100 yen for 20 minutes. The stains came out and everything finished beautifully. It truly helped me a lot. Thank you very much.

The front desk service was excellent. They kindly explained anything I didn’t understand. Staying for two in the ¥8,000 range is very affordable. It’s close to the station, and there are plenty of reasonably priced places nearby—from restaurants to izakayas and snack bars. I’d like to stay again.

I was attending a live tour and the venue is far from home, so I decided to look for Accommodation nearby. This time, I chose to stay at Art Park Hotel right next to the venue—Done. On the online map it was listed under the previous Hotel name, so I was a bit confused at first, but I’m glad I was able to make a Reservation without any issues. As the name suggests, it’s a Hotel with art on display throughout the building. I also received some beautiful art postcards. [Art is displayed in the Hotel.] It was truly right next door and very convenient. Parking was free as well. If I had to mention one thing, it would have been even better for me if there had been an Onsen or a large public bath… but that can’t be helped. The front desk staff greeted me and assisted me with smiles. Breakfast was delicious too. It was just one night and two days, but thank you for taking care of me.

I chose this Accommodation because I wanted an affordable stay near Izumoshi Station. I had no expectations at all, but it was better than expected. The free drinks until 9:00 p.m. included alcohol such as local sake. The complimentary breakfast was also good, and the shijimi clam miso soup was genuinely delicious. The Room was a bit small, and the unit bath felt cramped, but it was sufficient if you just need a shower. Overall, it was clean and the front desk staff were helpful. I would like to stay here again if I have the chance.

Even though it was a weekend, I was satisfied to stay in a reasonably priced, spacious Room. There is a Lawson convenience store very close by, so meals were not an issue. It’s a bit of a walk from the station, so it may feel slightly far if you have a lot of luggage. No problem if you’re driving. There was no hand soap at the sink, and while the large public bath was very relaxing, there was no facial cleanser or makeup remover either. That was a little disappointing, so I deducted one star for amenities only.

It is clean. It is within a 10-minute walk from Izumoshi Station. There are power outlets around the bed, so charging is convenient. There is a 7-Eleven across from the Hotel. There are many restaurants nearby.

We stayed for one night as a family. We had no contact with the staff; the door unlocked after we entered the code sent by email. The place felt very clean, with designer furniture and refined furnishings neatly arranged, making us feel like celebrities. The refrigerator was stocked with complimentary drinks and snacks, along with a Dolce Gusto machine and tea, so even without meeting any staff we could still feel their hospitality. It also seemed possible to use the washing machine, and even single-use detergent was provided. Above all, our child was delighted with the sparkling, stylish Room. From the outside, the rusty window frames gave it a somewhat run-down look, and that contrast made it even more exciting—an amazing experience.

We stayed with a group of eight, including children aged 5 and 8. Since it is a private whole-house rental, there were no other guests, and it was great not having to worry about others. Check-in and check-out are done using a machine inside the Room. It’s different from a Hotel or Ryokan, but it had the essential amenities and was kept clean and pleasant, which was more than enough for us. There were seasonings (salt and pepper, etc.) and tableware, and AEON is nearby, so we cooked our own breakfast and enjoyed a relaxed morning. The bathroom and toilets were also clean and comfortable.

I was very satisfied. The Room was clean, and it was already cool when I checked in. Since it was a hot day, I could feel the staff's thoughtfulness just from that. The large public bath was also satisfying. I would like to use this place again on my next business trip. Thank you for your hospitality.

I stay here for business trips. I really appreciate that parking is free, and because it’s a flat surface lot, even mid-sized vehicles can park without any trouble. There’s also a gas station nearby, and since the property faces a wide road, getting around is easy. For traveling around Izumo by car, I found that staying a little outside the area around the station offers more flexibility. Highly recommended.

This time, I stayed with the No Meals Included plan. While the building and Facility showed some signs of age, everything was well cleaned, and above all, the staff’s service was very courteous and left a great impression.
