A Ryokan proud of its own natural Onsen spring that wells up on the property. Enjoy Tamatsukuri’s renowned hot springs with 100% free-flowing source water. Some guest rooms were renovated in March 2016; we recommend the Japanese-modern spaces inspired by the Taisho era and early Showa period.

This Property features hot springs renowned as 'Beauty Springs,' with elegant baths utilizing ancient wood and doors from traditional houses, carefully curated by the hostess. Tamatsukuri Onsen, with a history of 1,300 years, is counted among Japan's oldest Onsen. Known as "Himegami no Yu" (Bath of the Goddess) for its skin-beautifying properties, it is a renowned hot spring especially loved by women. At our facility, you can enjoy the Onsen in various ways, including a large public bath equipped with an open-air bath and sauna, as well as five foot baths for a more casual experience. For dining, we offer a kaiseki meal featuring an abundance of local ingredients such as Shimane-grown Koshihikari rice, Shijimi clams from Lake Shinji, Shimane Wagyu beef, and Nodoguro fish. Relax in our lounge overlooking a traditional Japanese garden, where you can also enjoy complimentary coffee and tea.
