My name is Musashi. Here, time flows gently. My mother's name is "Ryokan Kinjo-kan." It was renowned as a famous Ryokan often visited by Minakata Kumagusu, a great naturalist and folklorist born in Wakayama. Later, "Ryokan Kinjo-kan" relocated to Shirahama, and in Showa 25 (1950), I inherited the name "Ryokan Musashi" from my mother. Since then, I have cherished my mother's teachings and continue to uphold them to this day. While preserving the charm of the old and good, I have evolved with the times and will continue to welcome travelers in the future.

We utilize the "Fujinoyu" hot spring source from Shirahama Onsen, one of Japan's three major hot springs.This mildly alkaline, low-salinity, high-temperature Onsen is gentle on the skin and effective for neuralgia and joint pain.Located just an 8-minute walk from Shirarahama Beach, it offers excellent accessibility.We welcome guests with local cuisine such as Kumano beef, crab, and other regional specialties, along with heartfelt hospitality.Please enjoy a special moment at the Crystal Ryokan Akariya.

The daily changing bath features not only medicinal herbs but also seasonal ingredients believed to benefit the skin, such as yuzu citrus, persimmon leaves, and seasonal flowers. The daily changing bath uses the natural spring water (31°C). While some may find it lukewarm, alternating between this and the heated bath (main bath) significantly enhances the Onsen's effects.
