The highlight of this village, once a post town on the old Izumo Kaido, is "Gaisen Sakura Street," lined with century-old cherry blossom trees. On this street, which retains the atmosphere of a historic highway, stands "Shinjo-shuku Sugai Residence," a century-old traditional house fully renovated. This small Property, limited to 2 groups and 4 guests per day, prides itself on offering warm and personalized hospitality to each guest. Additionally, guests are treated to a one-night stay with two meals, featuring a Japanese course meal made with ingredients from the satoyama, nurtured by the pristine nature of the headwaters.
