Both the interior and exterior are new, clean, and functional. The parking lot is spacious, making it easy to park. The beer and sake after a bath were excellent. I tried four types of sake, and all of them were delicious. All the meals were delicious as well—the Tamba black soybean tempura was outstanding. They also had everything I wanted to drink—beer, sake, wine, and shochu—so I ended up drinking a little too much.

Tamba-Sasayama shows many different sides with each season, and it feels like a wonderful town no matter how many times you visit. Among them, staying at NIPPONIA in the heart of Kawaramachi Street makes for a truly special experience. Breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes. The locally grown Dekansho rice and the miso soup made with black soybean miso were especially delicious.

It was our first time staying in a cultural heritage property, and it was a valuable experience for our children as well—we were able to enter places we normally wouldn’t, such as the tea room, Noh stage, and storehouse. It also allowed us to take a three-generation trip with our parents, who preferred not to travel far due to physical limitations, and we made wonderful memories.

The renovated traditional house features a charming courtyard and tasteful interior design. With three spacious and clean bedrooms, it provided a wonderful setting for creating memorable moments with family.
