To get straight to the point, this became an absolute favorite! I used to think staying overnight in Arima Onsen was expensive (especially with meals), so my usual style was to stay at a Hotel in Kobe, then stop by Arima Onsen the next day—soak at Kin no Yu or Gin no Yu and enjoy street food. This time I found this Hotel, and since it’s a No Meals Included Plan but still comes with tickets for the public baths, I was excited that I could finally fully enjoy Arima Onsen!! I arrived in the early afternoon and they kindly let me park my car at the Hotel. From the very beginning, all of the staff were incredibly kind and welcomed me so warmly! The location is easy to find since it’s just up from the shopping street, and Taiko no Yu is also right nearby. I walked from the Hotel and enjoyed street food starting from below all the way up to shops higher up, but it never felt far coming back. Also, while it may be an older property, everything is kept very clean, so it didn’t bother me at all—I was completely comfortable. I went to Kin no Yu, Gin no Yu, and Taiko-no-Yu Donokan as well, but personally I liked this Hotel’s bath the best! It wasn’t crowded and I could relax in a spacious setting. The foot acupressure bath felt amazing—I enjoyed it morning and night like a kid again! You do one loop through both cold water and hot water areas, and the stones underfoot give just the right amount of stimulation. Since I happened to be alone at that time, I went around several times! The hot water itself was also fantastic! The post-bath drink bar was another nice touch. And even the sweets with tea in my Room were something I already loved from Arima Onsen—so for the first time in a while I bought some at the shop to take home! Staying at this Hotel let me enjoy Arima Onsen to its fullest—it was refreshing and wonderful. Thank you as well for your pleasant service—I'll definitely come again!

From the moment we arrived, your attentive yet warmly familiar hospitality was perfectly balanced. The entire property was kept impeccably clean and well maintained. The furnishings, interior design, fragrance, and tableware— everything reflected consistently high-quality service throughout. We were able to completely switch off from work during our stay and felt truly refreshed. Thank you very much. We would love to visit again as a special treat for ourselves.

As we did last year, we stayed again this year for our cousins’ trip. Unfortunately, the weather was bad last year, but this year it was sunny, so we decided to definitely use Choraku’s pool. At check-in, we enjoyed delicious tea and sweets in the lounge, then rested a bit in our Room before heading to Choraku. We went into the pool (there were lots of children, but we still enjoyed it), and then used Choraku’s open-air bath. After returning, it was time for dinner. The meal was delicious again this time. The main dish at dinner was venison, which had no gamey smell and tasted great. There were also various drinks that paired well with the food, and this time we ordered the wine pairing. The price was very reasonable. After dinner we took a short break, then went back to Choraku to enjoy a mini concert. After returning, we had a nightcap in the lounge, took another bath, and went to bed. In the morning we woke up slowly, took another bath, and then had breakfast. This time we could choose between Japanese-style or Western-style breakfast; since the bread served here is incredibly good, we chose Western-style and asked for all types of bread so the three of us could share a little of each. We had tea in the lounge again, returned to our Room to pack up our belongings—and then it was already time to check out. The staff were pleasant, the Room was clean and comfortable—an easy Hotel to relax in—and since you can also enjoy Choraku’s Facilities and events as well, there’s plenty to do. We had another wonderful stay this time too. We’re planning our cousins’ trip here again next year as well—thank you in advance.

Thank you very much for everything. This is a wonderful Accommodation where you can enjoy both the gold and silver Onsen. Not only are the baths spacious, they are also kept extremely clean, making for a truly relaxing and rejuvenating time. The Shuttle Service staff, as well as all team members, were excellent, and the in-Room dining was delicious—there is nothing to complain about. When we visit Arima Onsen again, we will stay here. Our room was in a separate annex building. There was a private hot spring bath on the second floor, so we could relax without worrying even with children. The breakfast and dinner were both more delicious than expected. It was a shame there were so many dishes that we couldn’t finish everything. With no unnecessary services, we were able to unwind at our own pace. We’d love to visit again during the autumn foliage season.

Twelve of us gathered to celebrate my father’s 88th birthday. The Premium Suite Room was more than spacious enough for six people per Room, and we were completely satisfied. Drinks and snacks were free, and the service was exceptional. We also enjoyed table tennis and karaoke, and we owe this wonderful gathering to this Hotel. Thank you very much.

We stayed here to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We booked the Anniversary Plan, and in short, it was a truly wonderful stay that made us genuinely glad we chose to spend her special day here. What impressed us first was the outstanding hospitality of the staff. From arrival throughout our stay, everyone treated us with such warmth and care that we felt completely at ease. And above all, the food was exceptional. Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious—not just tasty, but beautifully presented in a way that truly felt like “a feast for the eyes as well as the palate.” Each course made us excited for what would come next, and we enjoyed every moment of mealtime. As part of the Anniversary Plan, we also received many thoughtful touches. They prepared a carved watermelon with the character “Kotobuki” (meaning “celebration/long life”), offered an extra dish on the house, and even gave us a commemorative gift. Every gesture made us happy and felt like they were celebrating my wife’s birthday together with us. Our Room had an open-air bath and a terrace, which allowed us to relax as a couple without worrying about anyone around us—something we really appreciated. In addition, as an IKYU Diamond member benefit, champagne and Shine Muscat grapes were prepared in our Room as well. This was another delightful service. Breakfast the next morning was just as impressive as dinner—not only in flavor but also in presentation—leaving us satisfied until the very end. Most importantly, my wife was truly happy during this trip—that meant everything to me. On such a special occasion—a birthday—we were able to enjoy amazing cuisine, warm hospitality, and unhurried time together as a couple. This is an Accommodation that made us sincerely feel: “We’re so glad we chose this place.” Thanks to all of your staff, it became a memorable and wonderful birthday for both of us. Thank you very much. We would love to return again for another important anniversary.

The roads in Arima Onsen are narrow, and they kept getting narrower on the way to the Hotel parking area, which made us a bit anxious, but we arrived safely. The staff were kind and attentive, and there were snacks and drinks in the lobby, so we could relax. The Room was also clean and well prepared; we took a short rest and enjoyed a walk around the Onsen town, which was fun. Since we requested a later dinner time, we were able to enjoy the bath at a leisurely pace. We thoroughly enjoyed plenty of meat with our meal. The other dishes also felt carefully prepared and were delicious. It was also nice that we could enjoy dessert in the lobby later in the evening after taking some time. If I had to mention one thing, it would have been better if breakfast items like bacon and sausages were served hot. We thought this might be our first and last trip to Arima Onsen, but now my spouse and I would like to visit again. We were happy with the Room upgrade—thank you very much.

This time, we stayed in a Room with a sauna. We have stayed here about four times so far, and every visit is comfortable in every way. It is our favorite Accommodation, and we always choose it whenever we stay in Arima. The beautifully arranged flowers throughout the building and the tastefully displayed artwork are wonderful—you can’t help but stop and admire them. A quiet, refined atmosphere fills the entire space, and simply being here naturally helps you unwind. The sauna Room was also very comfortable, allowing us to relax at our own pace in a private setting. Not overly flashy yet thoughtfully maintained down to the smallest details, this is a truly lovely Accommodation that perfectly embodies “small luxury.” We would definitely like to stay here again when we visit Arima.

After a tiring day of sightseeing, I contacted the Shuttle Service and they came right away, which was a huge help. The entire property was spotless, and the staff were very courteous. The Room had a kinsen hot spring bath with luxurious free-flowing water available 24 hours a day—I was truly impressed. I soaked many times and felt great every time. The kaiseki dinner, late-night tantanmen, and breakfast buffet were all delicious and left me completely satisfied. The staff member in charge of the tantanmen service was especially polite and provided outstanding hospitality. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, including many local specialties, which I really appreciated—I enjoyed it so much that I went back for seconds. The drink service in the lobby and in the Room was also very helpful. I was happy to find a wide selection of skincare amenities in the Room as well. Throughout my stay, there wasn’t a single unpleasant moment—I felt comfortable until the very end. At this price, it’s truly appreciated. I will definitely stay again next time. I visited for a day trip. The staff were very friendly. It was in a quiet location, a little away from the Onsen town. I arrived by car about an hour early, so I went shopping in the Onsen town about a 12-minute walk away, and they picked me up by car at the tourist information center. It was raining, so I really appreciated being picked up even though it was just a day trip. Thank you very much. Next time, I would like to stay overnight.

The Facility was spotless, and everything—from the meals to the Onsen—was excellent. We also had the pool to ourselves, and the kids were very happy. The only small issue was that we had to put on slippers to use the sink in the Room; it would have been nicer if we could access the sink and toilet directly without changing footwear. The staff were kind and attentive during meals, making our stay very comfortable. We would love to stay again. Thank you for your hospitality.

It’s not a luxurious resort, but it was clean and the service, while understated, was reliable. The meals were not extravagant, but well-seasoned and very enjoyable. The Onsen was also satisfying, with both Kinsen and Ginsen available. For the price, this Onsen Hotel offers excellent value. If I have the chance, I would definitely like to stay again.

Thank you very much for your truly attentive support from the time of our Reservation. I had wanted to stay here ever since the Hotel opened at the Toy Museum, and not only could we enjoy playing a lot at the Toy Museum, but the Room was also excellent (spacious, with a tatami area, and separate bath and toilet). We also received complimentary tickets for Kin-sen and Gin-sen, and in the Arima Onsen area, it felt like an unbelievable value for this price. I would definitely like to stay again.

Dinner was enjoyed at the neighboring Hanamusubi, and we also used their baths in the evening, including both Kin-no-Yu and Gin-no-Yu. It was delightful to experience both types of hot springs in a single visit. Since it was just a short walk from Kotori, moving to Hanamusubi's main building was not inconvenient at all. The food was very delicious. Breakfast was served at Kotori, and we also used the private bath there. Despite the rain, we had a relaxing time until departure without any inconvenience. The tofu hot pot for breakfast was excellent. We would love to visit again!

I had a wonderful time at this Accommodation where I could relax and fully enjoy both the Kinsen and Ginsen Onsen. Is the owner a woman who loves Onsen? It wasn’t excessive, but everything I wanted was thoughtfully provided, making my stay very comfortable. I also appreciated the complimentary free-drink service. The large public bath allows up to seven women, but since there are four private baths as well, it never felt crowded. If I may make a small request, it would be great to have tissue paper available in the private baths too, and having both M and L sizes of loungewear in the Room would be helpful so guests can choose what fits best. I would love to stay here again when I visit Arima Onsen. Thank you very much.

We were able to spend a relaxing Obon holiday as a family of three. The meals were very delicious, and we also enjoyed taking our time with coffee at The Perch. Since our daughter started working in Osaka, our family has taken a small luxury trip every summer for 2 nights and 3 days somewhere near Osaka. This was our third visit to Arima Onsen, and we were able to truly unwind. The food was especially wonderful, and we look forward to it every time—my husband even said this was the best meal he can remember having here. The Accommodation itself is a charming building that conveys a sense of history, which we really appreciated. We also liked that the bathing area had separate spaces for the bath and the washing area. However, the shower pressure was weak, so we think it would be even better if that could be improved. (Personally, I was disappointed that the open-air bath in our Room was not Onsen water and that the shower water pressure in the Room was weak.) Overall, it was a very memorable stay.
