Arima Onsen, one of Japan's oldest hot spring resorts and counted among the three most famous onsen in Japan. During the Meiji era, when Kobe opened its port to foreign trade, many foreigners visited Arima Onsen. They also visited the renowned autumn foliage spot "Kiyomizu-dera," which later became a foreigner-exclusive hotel called "Kiyomizu Hotel." The lush green grounds of "Arima Sanso Goshobessho" still retain the sacred atmosphere of that time. Goshobessho was established by Shirobei Kanai XV, the current head of "Tosen Goshobo," Arima Onsen's oldest accommodation. All 10 suite rooms at Goshobessho are detached and feature private onsen baths and low-temperature saunas known as "Thermal Rooms." One of these suites even includes the world's first treehouse-style open-air bath.

A Japanese-modern Property opened in 2017. In addition to Kinsen, we also have our own Ginsen source, making it one of the few Properties where you can enjoy both Kinsen and Ginsen. We offer a variety of relaxation options, including spa treatments within the Property and massages in your Room. The Property, located 50 minutes from Osaka, boasts 7 types of Onsen and 2 types of saunas, offering a tranquil experience while enjoying views of a Japanese garden and a clear stream. The open-air bath, in particular, contains carbon dioxide sodium, chloride, bicarbonate spring, hypotonic, neutral, and cold mineral spring, providing a soft texture with moisturizing and heat-retaining effects. Guests can enjoy a variety of baths, and the Japanese garden visible from the baths changes its colors with the seasons, welcoming everyone.
