Kamioka Station × Nature Experience AccommodationRecommended Hotel·Ryokan

With a proud history and tradition spanning more than 100 years, Nara Hotel is perched on a scenic hill in Nara Park and adjoins the former Daijoin Garden, a designated cultural property. The main building features a tiled roof and Momoyama palace-style cypress construction. Its interior blends Japanese and Western design, evoking the atmosphere of a royal residence.

Within walking distance to Todai-ji Temple, Kasuga-taisha Shrine, and the Naramachi area. We take pride in our private baths available for free and guest rooms with semi-open-air baths overlooking Sarusawa Pond. Wake up to the sound of the Kofuku-ji Temple bell, and start your morning with the procession of deer and rice cooked in a traditional stove. Enjoy a relaxing stay at our property.

A "Seasonal Delicacy Course" that blends the tradition of Japanese cuisine with French techniques, based on ingredients from Nara such as Yamato beef and Yamato vegetables. "Unique Free Activities" to experience the seasons woven by nature, including stargazing, wood chopping, campfires, insect collecting, and firefly watching, enjoyable for both adults and children. Enjoy a moment of leisure in a space that harmonizes the history and culture of ancient Nara, cherishing the essence of the ingredients. We welcome you first with the soothing aroma.
