Kawachi-Iwafune Station × Highly rated for dining at Hotel·Ryokan

Even though I arrived much later than the check-in time, the staff kindly accommodated me. I also enjoyed the wide variety of baths! Just one thing: many guests were barefoot inside the building, which I understand since it’s an Onsen, but if possible, it would be nice to have Japanese-style indoor footwear available (the disposable slippers in the Room were a bit small and hard to walk in), so those who want to wear them would have that option. Sorry for such a luxury request. I’m grateful to the kind front desk staff and to everyone on the team.

The front desk staff were helpful. I stayed long-term, and the Room on the side away from Route 170 was quiet, even with an upper floor. I could hardly hear any noise from the neighboring Room. There are supermarkets, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby, which is very convenient. You can buy drinks in front of the front desk, but it would be helpful to have a vending machine inside the Accommodation.

The meals were delicious. Dinner was especially outstanding (breakfast too). The large public bath was spacious, and the shower had strong water pressure. The Room felt clean and the lighting was bright, which was great, but I did notice a little light coming in through gaps in the curtains when sleeping, and the small constantly lit indicator on what seemed to be a ceiling alarm was quite bright. I would stay again if I have the chance.

I used this accommodation for work and travel in Kyoto (with my family of four). Since accommodations in Kyoto city were expensive, we decided to stay here as we were traveling by car. It takes about 30-40 minutes from Kyoto city, and there is an onsen facility nearby, along with restaurants and supermarkets, which was convenient. The hotel facilities were clean, the room was spacious and comfortable. The parking lot was also large and convenient. Breakfast was great as well. I think I will choose this place again next time. I stayed one night in a single Room. I was feeling anxious about my stay, but when I spoke with the staff at check-in, they kindly listened and helped me right away. It really put me at ease and allowed me to focus on what I needed to do. It was a huge help—thank you so much again. Everyone was very kind to me, and thanks to that, I achieved a good result. The Room was quiet and relaxing, and the air conditioner had already cooled the Room well when I entered, which felt great. It did feel a bit old, but it was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I would definitely like to stay again next time.

I spend about 100 days a year staying in Hotels, and this was one of the good ones. From the entrance to the guest room and bathroom, everything felt clean and well maintained, which was very relaxing. I would be happy to stay again if I have the opportunity.
