A Property with 15 rooms where you can fully enjoy the seafood of the San'in and Japan Sea. In winter, savor Matsuba crab; in summer, fresh squid; and in spring and autumn, Kasumi crab and premium fish like Nodoguro, all freshly caught at Kasumi Port in Hyogo Prefecture. The owner, being a broker, personally selects and purchases the seafood at auctions, ensuring exceptional freshness and quality. The Property was renovated in July 2021, introducing new Japanese-Western special rooms equipped with bedrooms and private baths, offering an extraordinary stay. Meals are served privately at individual table seating, and the open kitchen showcases freshly caught seafood of the day, which the chef prepares right in front of you upon special order. The large public bath features natural Kasumi Onsen (alkaline simple Onsen), with silver-lined mirrors and lighting creating a magical atmosphere to soothe your fatigue.

Sumifuso is a small, family-style Property that offers hospitality with "Geo Gourmet" dishes, including fresh seafood and Matsuba crab caught at Hamasaka Port, one of the top-level crab fishing ports in The whole country. In Hamasaka, there is a Crab Sommelier system, where certification is granted after training and exams. A Crab Sommelier is an "expert in crabs and hospitality," sharing knowledge about crab dining as well as the history and culture of Hamasaka with guests. Our Property has four Crab Sommeliers who are here to assist in making your journey memorable. Shinonsen Town, Hamasaka, is a small rural town and not a major tourist destination. It is our pleasure to provide a memorable travel experience with the slow pace of the countryside and delicious meals. Our Rooms include Japanese-style Rooms and Japanese-Western hybrid Rooms with beds, all equipped with private toilets and washbasins. Wi-Fi is available in all Rooms. While we have a small family bath, we also provide free admission tickets to the Yutopia Hamasaka or Shichikama Onsen Yurakukan public baths so you can fully enjoy the Hamasaka Onsen experience. In summer, enjoy a variety of seven natural and rock oyster dishes prepared by skilled oyster shuckers, fresh squid from Kasumi, salt-grilled natural sweetfish from the Yada River, salt-grilled blackthroat seaperch, Tajima beef steak, and in autumn, Kasumi crab, and in winter, Matsuba crab. These seasonal delicacies can be savored in semi-private or private Rooms. Relax in the indoor bath of the large communal bath or the private cypress bath to fully enjoy Shibayama Onsen.
