Yōka Station × Highly rated Hotel·Ryokan

We arrived in the evening and chose the plan with two meals included. The only convenience store within walking distance is a Lawson about 10–15 minutes away. Since you have to cross a national highway at night, it feels far. We were glad we added meals. The carefully prepared dishes were unique both to look at and to taste, and we really enjoyed them. I definitely recommend adding meals. We went early in the morning to Ritsuunkyo, came back for breakfast, rested in our Room, and then hiked up Takeda Castle; being able to take breaks along the way was great. This is a recommended Accommodation. Since it is an old traditional house Hotel, I would not recommend it to those who cannot enjoy an older building or who expect perfect Facilities.

We stayed as a family of eight. The Japanese-Western style room had three beds, and futons were provided in the tatami room. It was spacious enough for us to relax comfortably. The welcome drink and amenities such as shampoo were great. We booked a Plan that included vouchers worth 2,000 yen per person for a nearby Chinese restaurant, and we were able to eat until we were completely full. Thank you to all the staff for welcoming us with smiles.

Surrounded by mountains, this Hotel is quiet and offers a relaxing, unhurried stay. At the front desk, you can borrow items such as soccer balls and badminton equipment. In summer, the indoor pool is also available, making it a comfortable choice for families with children to enjoy with peace of mind. The buffet felt slightly limited in variety, but everything tasted great and I went back for seconds several times. Depending on the season, there are also dishes featuring crab or abalone, giving the impression that guests of all ages can enjoy it. One small point to note is the shop: while there is a wide selection of souvenirs, there are fewer options for snacks and alcohol. You may want to buy those in advance at a convenience store or supermarket on the way. Also, because the building uses centralized air conditioning, there are no individual air conditioners in each Room. If you are sensitive to temperature changes, bringing lighter or warmer clothing may help you stay more comfortable.

On the way back from Kinosaki Onsen, I stayed overnight as I am not comfortable driving at night. The Hotel seems new and clean. It is convenient with a roadside station and a convenience store nearby. The room appears to have a foreign-style design, with hangers placed at a high position. It might be slightly inconvenient for shorter individuals. Overall, it was a comfortable Hotel to stay in.

We stayed with our 5-year-old (no futon or meals included), but since the adults had breakfast included, they kindly provided our child with rice, miso soup, and one side dish. Their thoughtfulness truly warmed our hearts. Thank you very much. The parking area was right in front of the property, which made us feel at ease, and the front desk staff welcomed us politely. There is also an Onsen and an AEON nearby, so it’s easy to go out for a quick outing. The complimentary stick drinks were also a nice touch for relaxing in the Room.

The Room was clean and well maintained. The bed height and firmness were perfect for me. There was only a shower, but it was an overhead-style shower and felt great. However, the adjacent Onsen Facility was unavailable that day due to a mechanical issue, which was disappointing. So I’d rate the bath 3 stars. I think this is a Hotel I’d be happy to stay at for a Multiple Night Stay.

I often stay here during ski season. In Kannabe, dinner usually means a variety of hot pots, but here you can choose the proprietress’s chef’s-choice dinner. It’s outstanding—each time I stay the menu changes, and everything is incredibly delicious with generous portions. The price is also reasonable, so there’s nothing to complain about. Also, the hair dryer introduced this year is Panasonic’s top-of-the-line model—so good it brings back shine and softness to your hair. The futons are high quality and clean.

Used for a trip to Takeda Castle Ruins. Is it new? Everything was clean, and I had no complaints! The staff were friendly and pleasant. Unfortunately, I couldn't see the sea of clouds this time, but I would love to stay here again for my next attempt! Thank you for your hospitality!

We stayed at this Accommodation again around the same time as last year with the same group (3 people). We were given a spacious Room with two connected rooms, which was great. The air conditioning worked throughout the building, and everything was thoroughly cleaned, making our stay very comfortable. The only minor concern—something we noticed last time as well—was that the toilet paper tears very easily, which was a bit stressful. Thank you very much.

The meals were so delicious and plentiful that we couldn’t finish everything. We also enjoyed talking with the hostess, who was very kind and welcoming. The building had a traditional old-style house feel and was very clean. If we have the chance, this is an Accommodation we would love to visit again. The firefly squid pasta was outstanding.

This Accommodation was the main purpose of our trip. From the front desk, it’s a stylish space. There is a restroom and bath on the first floor, and a living room, kitchen, and bedroom on the second floor. When you enter the Room, the entryway is filled with a lovely aroma scent. The overall design—wood with gray, green, and navy tones—was very calming. The pillars, beams, and window glass make use of older materials while everything still feels beautifully designed! Thoughtful details like linen cloths, incredibly comfortable pajamas for sleeping, and delicious coffee were also outstanding. It seems difficult to cook elaborate meals in the kitchen, but you can prepare simple dishes. There is also a supermarket nearby. We went to a nearby Italian trattoria (Trattoria OB) on the first night, then made an easy meal on the second night and enjoyed wine at a relaxed pace. We had seen Reviews mentioning insects might appear, but perhaps because of the season we didn’t encounter any. You can also use the lounge at their affiliated Hotel “Toyooka 1925.” We used it three times; it wasn’t crowded and we could relax comfortably each time. “Toyooka 1925” is also a stylish space. We were able to spend slow time without using TV or internet—it was two very satisfying days for us.

I stayed here for business. It’s close to the station with convenient access, and I’d like to stay again.

I had a Reservation for the Kasumi Geo Taxi from 8:30, so I left home at 4:30 in the morning. After enjoying the San’in Geopark from the boat, I arrived at the Ryokan early. They kindly let me into my Room a little ahead of time, so I was able to take a nap—truly grateful. That evening, I went to the Kasumi Hometown Festival (the seaside fireworks display), and due to traffic I returned to the Ryokan later than expected, but I was glad I could still use the bath. Since other guests were also going to the fireworks, they thoughtfully extended the bathing hours. As you’d expect from a cuisine-focused Ryokan, breakfast is absolutely delicious—I’m a repeat guest for that reason as well. Above all, every staff member is polite and kind, and their guest-centered care is truly admirable. The clean and well-maintained Ryokan reflects their genuine hospitality. It was a wonderful holiday both physically and mentally. Thank you very much.

As this Facility is in Hyogo Prefecture, I think it is reasonably priced. The Room is spacious (too spacious for one person), clean, and comes with a toilet. It also has Wi-Fi, and the window facilities are well equipped. I will use it again.

A stylish hotel utilizing a historic building. The lounge offers exceptional financiers and cookies, highly recommended. A wide selection of alcoholic beverages is also available. However, the room specifications are somewhat limited, and while the water facilities are clean, they are minimal. Kinosaki is known for its public Onsen hopping, which I learned later. The best way to enjoy this accommodation might be to explore the local Onsen and sightseeing first, then relax in the lounge afterward.

The Room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very delicious. If dinner is available, I would like to try it as well. I was very satisfied that they accommodated us from as early as 6:30 a.m. The bath is small and can get full with 2–4 people, but it is new and a good size. Since it operates on a rotating schedule for men and women, you need to pay attention to the time. It cannot be used in the morning or late at night, but since this is not a large Hotel, I think this is understandable from an operational standpoint. The location is also good, as convenience stores and roadside stations are within walking distance.

I originally made a Reservation for a solo touring trip, but two friends decided they wanted to join. Perhaps because it was a Japanese-style room, the staff kindly accommodated the additional guests, so we switched to a drive trip by car and had a great time together. We were very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast, and my friends were happy as well. I would love to stay again if I have the opportunity.

It was my first time staying here, and I came for work. With dinner and breakfast included for this price, it was an excellent value. I’m very satisfied! I’ll stay again. Thank you!
