The name "Tsukinuke-cho," which is also part of the facility's name, originates from the time when Toyotomi Hideyoshi created a thoroughfare connecting Kamigyo and Shimogyo, leading to the establishment of this town. During that era, Shimogyo was a bustling commercial district for commoners, while Kamigyo was home to affluent residences. The first floor represents Shimogyo with an inviting green-themed interior showcasing craftsmen's tools and traditional crafts to reflect its artisan roots.
