Himeji Station × Highly rated for customer service and hospitality at Hotel·Ryokan

Unfortunately, it was raining, but towels were provided in front of the front desk, and I was impressed by how thoughtful that was. The hotel is close to the station, and the bath was great. After bathing, I enjoyed some ice cream while taking in the beautiful view. The late-night soba was excellent, and breakfast was also very delicious. I would love to stay again if I have the chance. As this was my first stay, I checked the reviews in advance. Just as others had written, I truly felt the warm hospitality of all the staff, and I had a very comfortable stay. I booked the anniversary plan to celebrate my partner’s retirement, and I sincerely appreciate your thoughtful attention to detail. Thank you very much. The room was bright with a white color scheme, and the moment I walked in, I couldn’t help saying “Wonderful.” The Mirable showerhead left my skin and hair moisturized—it was amazing. The ReFa hair dryer was also great. I would love to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you again, and I look forward to seeing you next time.

I had stayed at the Richmond Hotel Kyoto several times and had a great experience, so I chose this Hotel when looking for Accommodation in Himeji. The Room was a comfortable size, the coffee was delicious, and although I didn’t have breakfast, it looked very appealing. This is a Hotel I would like to stay at again.

I have stayed here many times. The other day at check-in, I was with a guest from overseas. The staff informed them that they could see Himeji Castle from their Room, and they were very happy, saying, “Thank you, wonderful.” It was truly excellent hospitality, and it made me feel good as well.

It has to be JR Clement Inn Himeji (lol). Thanks to this place, sightseeing in Himeji is always a blast. It’s close to the station, and we even walked to the Himeji City Aquarium—it was closer than I expected. Having both the zoo and the aquarium within walking distance feels like such a luxury. We stay here every time, but for some reason we always get the same room (lol). It’s comfortable, and you can even see the Shinkansen. My child always looks forward to the late-night ochazuke.

Conveniently located just past the shopping street from the station, making it a great base for sightseeing in Himeji. I asked to store my luggage before visiting Himeji Castle, and they kindly accommodated me. It was also nice that there is a terrace on the 7th floor with a view of Himeji Castle. The Room was clean, including the interior and bathroom facilities. Breakfast was very satisfying, with plenty of Himeji specialties. The only downsides were that there was only one elevator so it took a while to arrive at checkout time, and the refrigerator noise by the pillow was a bit loud and kept me from sleeping well—but overall it was a very good Hotel.

This was my first time in Himeji to see an opera. I considered other options, but chose this Hotel because of the Nikko brand, a separate bath and toilet, on-site parking, and even a club floor. However, the parking lot fills up quickly (it’s near the station and there aren’t many spaces), which made me nervous as a guest traveling from far away. A male staff member at the parking entrance kindly secured the last available space for me, which was a huge help—thank you very much. It would be great if parking could be reserved when making a Reservation, though I understand it may be difficult to manage. I also appreciated that parking is free for club-floor guests. The Facility feels a bit dated in places, but the Room has been renovated for comfort and convenience, with no shortage of amenities. The ReFa shower and hair dryer were excellent. The toilet wasn’t just updated cosmetically—the fixtures and piping also seemed new, making it very easy to use. The pajamas were a comfortable two-piece set with a soft feel and relaxed fit. It was quiet at night and I slept very well. The lounge made me wonder if this price is really okay—the food and drinks were impressively plentiful. Not only alcohol but also a great selection of HARNEY & SONS teas; the cinnamon tea recommended by one of the hotel staff was so good that I bought some afterward. Overall, the service was pleasant throughout and I could truly relax. Breakfast offered an extensive variety of both Japanese- and Western-style dishes—so much that even with my big appetite I couldn’t try everything. Live-cooked egg dishes are common at Hotels, but this was my first time seeing burgers made to order right in front of me. The burger was delicious—and perfectly sized as well. And the Awaji Island milk was outstanding. With no time limits on parking or lounge access, I could visit Himeji Castle and shop in the arcade as well. This isn’t just convenient for guests—it also feels like support for local revitalization efforts. Breakfast included many locally inspired items, and even the vending machines next to reception carried products from local confectionery shops—another nice touch. I don’t often have reasons to come to Himeji, but I’d love to return for a relaxing staycation. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

This was my first time staying here on a business trip to Himeji. The breakfast was very delicious, and I was very satisfied to be able to try Himeji specialties. The coffee was great as well. I would like to stay here again.

Thank you for your hospitality. It was rainy and cold that day, so the shuttle bus was very helpful. The room was also cold, and since the air conditioning could not be adjusted in each room, we were concerned at first; however, you quickly brought us a heater. Even though it was small, it worked very well and kept us warm. The bath was more spacious than expected, and we were satisfied. The shampoo bar was also great. For dinner, we took the bus to the area in front of the station, finally got to try Himeji oden as we had hoped, and then were able to return by bus as well. However, there was no morning shuttle bus, so we had no choice but to walk to the station. It would be helpful if there were a few departures timed around check-out. Also, it was disappointing that complimentary bottled water (one per person) was not provided. Overall, it is a good hotel and we would like to stay again. Thank you very much.

Because the room rate was low, I honestly didn’t expect much. In reality, the female staff at the front desk were very pleasant, and the parking lot right in front (check-out by 8:00) was JPY 800 per night. The large public bath was comfortable, the amenities were well stocked, there was a ReFa hair dryer, pajamas were provided, and the room was clean—everything was perfect and I was completely satisfied. This time I was traveling from Tottori and Shimane to Fukuoka. Since I needed to get to Itami Airport early the next morning, I searched for a place where I could take a short nap and found this property. I arrived at 23:30 and left just before 5:00 the next day, so my stay was brief—just a shower and a little sleep— but the front desk staff were very kind, and I was very satisfied with the amenities. Also, the bus stop was right nearby, which was extremely helpful. If I have another chance, I’d like to stay longer next time. Thank you very much.

Breakfast and dinner included, plus a large public bath—all at this price!! On this motorcycle trip—Himeji, Kurashiki, Hiroshima (now), Yonago, and back to Himeji—it’s been Universal Hotel all the way!!

We stay here every year for a Multiple Night Stay. The location is convenient, but it would be great if there were some variety in the breakfast menu for Multiple Night Stays. Regarding parking, as the contracted parking lot can sometimes be full, it would be helpful if the website clearly stated the fees for non-contracted parking options so we can plan accordingly in advance.

Right next to Himeji Castle, and you can get around on foot. The air conditioning was already on when we checked in, which was a thoughtful touch. It was a bit disappointing that there was only a shower, but the space was very spacious and comfortable.

It’s a clean Hotel, so I felt comfortable and safe during my stay.

You can hear people in the hallway, but I appreciated being able to stay solo without meals, especially so close to the station. Parking information was posted inside the elevator; it might be easier to understand if it were also on the website (sorry if I missed it). It was my first time unlocking the door by entering a code, so I was a bit confused. My companion accidentally got locked out, which was inconvenient. The room was clean and there were no issues. I would be happy to stay again if I have another opportunity.
