Within a 5-8 minute drive, you can reach JR Omi-Imazu Station, convenience stores, discount shops (DS), Heiwado, Komeri, Nishimatsuya, McDonald's, Autobacs, and other stores, making it a very convenient and pleasant environment. Hakodateyama Ski Resort is visible across the way, and it takes about 5 minutes by car to the gondola lift. In winter, it is popular for skiing, while from spring to autumn, many visitors come to enjoy the terrace with a panoramic view of Lake Biwa. About a 10-minute drive away, you can find the Metasequoia tree-lined road leading to Makino Highland, which stretches 2.4 kilometers with 500 trees and attracts tourists year-round. Makino Highland also features the Onsen Facility "Sarasa," which is available for day-use visitors.
