With the themes of “the luxury of doing nothing” and “a secluded Accommodation,” we serve satoyama Italian cuisine born from fresh lake seafood and the rich bounty of the mountains. Set on a 500-tsubo property, we welcome only six parties per day. Each room is spacious and distinctive, created for moments of quiet serenity. In 2023, young chef Takuro Ishizuka—born and raised here at the foot of the Hira Mountains—joined us. Drawing on his experience discovering exceptional ingredients across Japan and blending them with Japanese cuisine and Mediterranean influences, he is now bringing his expression to Shiga.
