One is a dog-friendly (pet-allowed) Kyoto townhouse where you can stay with your beloved dog. The other is an accommodation where pets are not allowed. You can choose the accommodation that suits your style.

This is the gateway to Kyoto. After alighting from the Shinkansen or airport train, "Machiya Kaemon" is just a short walk away. Sometimes, it serves as a base for exploring Kyoto, with a 5-minute walk leading you to convenient train or bus routes to any destination. At other times, enjoy staying in the traditional townhouse with meticulously designed modern Facility.

We have renovated a traditional "Kyo-machiya" that still remains in Kyoto. You can stay in this historic townhouse and experience a simulated lifestyle in Kyoto. This Property is the fourth dog-friendly Kyo-machiya in our series. We collaborated with companies that support our mission of "preserving machiya and Kyoto's landscape." The noren curtain was specially crafted using denim fabric from Okayama Prefecture by "CEUEU," and the furniture features products from the Italian furniture brand "Kartell." While the exterior retains the traditional look of a Kyo-machiya, the interior is modern and stylish, inspired by the image of a highland villa, offering a comfortable and chic Kyo-machiya experience. Please enjoy the charming streets of Kyoto with your beloved dog.

A new type of Hotel has opened in the Shimabara Omon area, Kyoto's oldest officially licensed flower district. Just 2 stations from JR Kyoto Station and about a 5-minute walk from JR Tambaguchi Station. Convenient access to Kyoto Aquarium, Railway Museum, and Umekoji Park, all just 1 station away. Known as Japan’s oldest officially licensed flower district since its opening. The gate features a one-span width with tiled roofing and gabled structure in Korean style. Inside the gate are old lattice-structured ageya (entertainment houses) and okiya (geisha houses) neatly lined up along with landmarks like "Exit Willow," "Farewell Fence," and "Shianbashi" bridge on the path leading through it—designated as a cultural property by Kyoto City.Experience the charm of traditional Kyo-machiya while immersing yourself in the historic atmosphere of ancient Kyoto!
