Ji Shi Station × Highly rated for customer service and hospitality at Hotel·Ryokan

Although it was my first time trying zazen meditation, sutra copying, and morning prayers, the clear guidance helped me ease into everything smoothly. The thoughtfully prepared shojin ryori (Buddhist vegetarian cuisine) was truly delicious and deeply moving. The Room and Facility were also clean and comfortable. I felt refreshed by the soothing atmosphere that embodies the spirit of Japan, and even now after returning home, I still feel renewed.

We stayed in a glamping dome that allows dogs. There was a restroom in the building right next door, and although we were worried it might be inconvenient, it wasn’t a problem at all. Since it’s all-inclusive, we could enjoy drinks without holding back (lol). For a limited time only, they took us by bus at night to see an area with large numbers of fireflies, which was wonderful. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and after dinner we roasted marshmallows over the campfire! The thoughtful hospitality from the international staff was also great. We’d love to come again.

I stayed here with the No Meals Included plan for a mountain climb. The Accommodation was spotless throughout, and both the Room and the bath were very comfortable. Above all, I truly appreciated the hostess’s warm hospitality, which helped me relax and enjoy my stay. Thanks to that, I was able to rest well before my climb. I would love to stay again if I have a chance to visit the area. Thank you very much.

I was looking for an Accommodation nearby so I could take my fourth-grade son to the dinosaur museum, and I found this wonderfully cute place, so we booked a Multiple Night Stay. There were dinosaur figures and toys everywhere, and even the plates, bath mat, and bedding were all dinosaur-themed—my son was thrilled. I was especially impressed that even the toilet paper holder was a dinosaur! They kindly told us to help ourselves to bread, bacon and eggs, vegetables, juice and coffee, cup soup, and even ice cream—we gratefully enjoyed it. The exterior isn’t new, but the inside has been beautifully renovated and well maintained—such a lovely Accommodation. We’ve stayed in many places before, but this one felt as relaxed as being back at my parents’ home. My son said it was “the best ever!”, and his 10th birthday trip became a wonderful memory. Thank you so much for everything!

The air conditioning was already on when we arrived, so we were able to stay comfortably!

I visited Katsuyama City to go to the Dinosaur Museum, and I found it a wonderful place with plenty of nature and wide roads. Guests came to the Hotel from all over The whole country, and it was fun seeing license plates from different prefectures. The staff were kind, the Room was clean, and I had a very comfortable stay. It was disappointing that dinner service was closed, but I walked about 10 minutes from the Hotel into a residential area and found an izakaya where I ate. Breakfast offered many local Fukui dishes, and I was very satisfied.
