Boasting the best panoramic view in Gero Onsen, our "Observation Open-Air Bath" is a highlight. We also offer limited-time dance shows, a summer-only pool and fireworks display, as well as facilities like a table tennis area, karaoke rooms, game corner, massage chair area, souvenir shop, izakaya pub, and post-bath lounge for your enjoyment. Gero Onsen Yamagataya was established in the late Edo period, during the Tenpo era. Since its founding, the desire for "visitors to Yamagataya to feel more relaxed than at home and return rejuvenated" and the relaxing spaces cultivated over time have been Yamagataya's greatest attractions. Enjoy seasonal handmade dishes featuring Hida beef, local ingredients, and fresh seafood directly sourced from the market, along with the abundant hot spring waters in the large communal bath and open-air baths.

Our Property is a members-only villa resort. On specific dates, non-members are also welcome to stay. Gifu Prefecture, known as "Hiyama Nosui," is divided into the Hida region, where mountains overlap like folds, and the Mino region, represented by the Kiso Three Rivers. The Onsen of Gero, one of the "Three Great Onsens of Japan," is located in the southern part of the Hida region. It is a scenic tourist Onsen nestled in a mountain valley along the Hida River. Our Property is a 10-minute walk from the Onsen town. You can enjoy the renowned hot springs of Gero, loved by people for generations, as well as the charming streets unique to the Onsen town.
