Gero Onsen Koyoi Tenku ni Asobu Shogetsu is a Property located on a hill overlooking the onsen town, with Rooms featuring floor-to-ceiling glass windows to ensure an unobstructed view. With only 3 Rooms per floor and a total of 21 Rooms, this luxurious space truly allows you to experience the meaning of "playing in the sky," as the name suggests. The breathtaking views from the Rooms are among the best in Gero Onsen. The bathhouse "Taketori Monogatari" features glass-walled indoor baths and open-air baths, creating the ambiance of "heavenly bathing." Not only does it offer stunning views, but it also provides the comfort of a private space. The dining area "Suikintei," designed with unique aesthetics for each Room in a traditional sukiya style, serves seasonal kaiseki cuisine, presented dish by dish for your enjoyment.

Since its founding, the desire for "visitors to Yamagataya to feel more relaxed than at home and return rejuvenated" and the relaxing spaces cultivated over time have been Yamagataya's greatest attractions. Enjoy seasonal handmade dishes featuring Hida beef, local ingredients, and fresh seafood directly sourced from the market, along with the abundant hot spring waters in the large communal bath and open-air baths.

“Miki no Sato” stands in Maze, a village certified as one of “The Most Beautiful Villages in Japan.” Located in Gero Onsen, known as one of Japan’s three most famous hot spring areas, this is the largest Onsen Accommodation in Gero City. Beneath a sky filled with brilliant stars and surrounded by tranquil nature, enjoy a luxurious time in natural hot springs and open-air baths while taking in views of the Maze mountains and clear streams.
