Opened on September 2, 2007. Named “Masuichi Kyakuden” from the owner’s wish: “We would have loved to welcome you into our own home…”. Designed by architect John Morford—who also designed “Kurabu” and the main store of Masuichi Ichimura Sake Brewery—this Accommodation is his vision of where he would want to stay when visiting Obuse. Centered around three earthen storehouses relocated from a long-established sugar wholesaler in Nagano, it comprises seven wooden buildings, with interiors fully furnished in Western style.
In winter, the renowned ski and snowboard haven 'Shiga Kogen', along with the chestnut and Hokusai town 'Obuse', as well as other attractions like 'Yudanaka Shibu Onsen' and 'Nozawa Onsen', are conveniently located as a hub for Northern Shinshu tourism. ■ Free buffet breakfast ■ Wi-Fi connectivity ■ WOWOW viewing available ■ Free parking ■ 24-hour front desk ■ Separate male and female large baths ■ Coin-operated laundry and dryer available ■ Paid cleaning service available.
