The staff were wonderful, and the Room was spotless with a great atmosphere. If I had to mention one thing, the bath is so large that the water cools down quickly, but there is no reheating function... Also, since we ended up with quite a bit of trash, it would be helpful if spare trash bags were provided. We stayed with five family members and one dog, and there was plenty of space. I stayed here on the recommendation of an acquaintance who has visited Karuizawa many times. It was just a few minutes’ walk to Kyu-Karuizawa Ginza, so it was very convenient for exploring the area. The Room and the large public bath were both spacious, clean, and comfortable, and I really enjoyed both meals—they were delicious. I requested the Shuttle Service, and the vehicle was clean and the ride was excellent. The staff were also very pleasant and welcoming. If I had to mention one thing, it would have been even more comfortable if the TV supported network features. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Karuizawa.

It was a very comfortable space, and there were bathrooms with a sauna and jet bath on both the 1st and 2nd floors, so two families could use them without hesitation. If I had to mention just one suggestion, there is a microwave on the lobby counter, and I would have liked to see a free drink dispenser placed nearby. The service and value for money are outstanding, so even if the room rate were higher, it wouldn’t be an issue at all.

I stayed here because of its convenient location for enjoying a concert at Ohga Hall. This Hotel has a quiet atmosphere that lets you feel Karuizawa’s history. This was a repeat stay following last year. Last year, the Room felt slightly more spacious, so I assumed it had been upgraded. This time, it was the Room I reserved, but it didn’t feel cramped at all. I rented a massage chair and a foot massager, so the area around the desk became difficult to walk through, but that was on me and not an issue. I was able to relax. I was also impressed by the number of power outlets. I also enjoyed breakfast at a leisurely pace—it was delicious. Thank you very much.

This was my third stay. It’s conveniently located near Karuizawa Station, making it easy to go anywhere. There’s a convenience store and a small supermarket right in front, so you won’t have any trouble with quick shopping. The Room is always clean and well maintained, and I had another very comfortable stay this time. The front desk staff provide calm, understated service, but they are very kind and keep a pleasant sense of distance. The lounge offers coffee, tea, and more, and you can relax in the spacious area. It seems a bar has recently opened as well, so I’d like to try it next time. I think this Hotel is easy to use for both solo stays and family trips. My elderly mother also really likes it and says she wants to stay at this Hotel again on our next visit to Karuizawa. Considering the location, cleanliness, comfort, and Accommodation Fee, I’m very satisfied. I think it’s a great value Hotel. I’d love to stay again.

I stayed here in early June. Tucked away behind Karuizawa Suwa Shrine, the lush and quiet surroundings were truly soothing for both body and mind. The friendly staff and the warm welcome from the large bear in the lobby made me smile, and the clean, spacious Room was comfortable and relaxing, with thoughtful attention to detail including amenities. Breakfast featured delicious vegetables, with a choice of mains that felt nourishing and wholesome. I enjoyed it so much that next time I’d love to try dinner as well.

I stayed here again, as I did last year. This time, I split my stay into two parts: 2 nights and then 3 nights—first on the east side, and the last 3 nights on the west side. The west side is better. I plan to stay here again next year.
