This was our first time staying with our Toy Poodle. The amenities, dog run, and photo spots were irresistible for dog lovers. Everything was clean, and there were no unpleasant odors. Above all, the Hotel staff were kind. With their pleasant greetings and helpful support when we needed it, the atmosphere was wonderful, and we would definitely like to stay again.

This was my second stay. The free-flow sparkling wine is also a big draw! Right after check-in, I headed straight to the lounge. Sipping sparkling wine while chatting in a quiet space made me feel happy right away. Dinner was French, and the taste, portion size, and quality were all outstanding—nothing to complain about. Every wine pairing was delicious, and it made me want to try a variety. The Room was spacious and beautifully designed. The Simmons bed was as comfortable as expected, and I slept soundly until morning. It’s a Hotel I’d definitely like to visit again when I go to Karuizawa.

The staff’s warm, heartfelt hospitality was truly comforting, and I was able to spend my entire stay feeling relaxed and at ease. The whole Hotel was kept impeccably clean, and I could sense thoughtful attention to detail throughout, which allowed me to unwind with complete peace of mind. Each dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and wonderful in both appearance and taste—I was completely satisfied with everything. Thanks to the staff, I had a wonderful time in Karuizawa. I am sincerely grateful. When I visit Karuizawa again, I would definitely like to stay here. Thank you very much for a lovely time.

It was a rainy day, so it was helpful that the Hotel was close to the station. All of the Hotel staff were pleasant and welcoming. For breakfast, I had salad, bread, and soup, and everything was delicious and satisfying. There were board games in the free drinks area, which we enjoyed. It was a great Hotel that I would like to stay at again.

While the Facility shows its age, the view from the window and the wonderful hospitality of the staff more than make up for it. Even though it was a busy season, we were able to truly relax. Thank you very much.

This was a repeat stay following last year. Last year, the Room felt slightly more spacious, so I assumed it had been upgraded. This time, it was the Room I reserved, but it didn’t feel cramped at all. I rented a massage chair and a foot massager, so the area around the desk became difficult to walk through, but that was on me and not an issue. I was able to relax. I was also impressed by the number of power outlets. I also enjoyed breakfast at a leisurely pace—it was delicious. Thank you very much.

This was my third stay. It’s conveniently located near Karuizawa Station, making it easy to go anywhere. There’s a convenience store and a small supermarket right in front, so you won’t have any trouble with quick shopping. The Room is always clean and well maintained, and I had another very comfortable stay this time. The front desk staff provide calm, understated service, but they are very kind and keep a pleasant sense of distance. The lounge offers coffee, tea, and more, and you can relax in the spacious area. It seems a bar has recently opened as well, so I’d like to try it next time. I think this Hotel is easy to use for both solo stays and family trips. My elderly mother also really likes it and says she wants to stay at this Hotel again on our next visit to Karuizawa. Considering the location, cleanliness, comfort, and Accommodation Fee, I’m very satisfied. I think it’s a great value Hotel. I’d love to stay again.

The complimentary drinks in the lobby lounge, the Room, the Onsen, the parking service, and access to the shopping mall were all excellent.

I live not too far from Karuizawa. A friend from Tokyo really wanted to spend some quiet, relaxing time in Karuizawa, so we stayed there together. It feels like an Accommodation that combines the best of both a Hotel and a rental villa. The staff may feel politely hands-off at times, but if you ask, they respond with genuine care. Shuttle Service from Karuizawa Station is also available, so if you need it, it’s best to inquire and Reserve in advance. Although it’s close to Kyu-Karuizawa Ginza, you can step just a little way off the main road and escape the crowds. I also saw guests staying solo who spent their time reading throughout their stay. Rather than coming for a typical Hotel experience, you’ll appreciate this place most if you stay here to enjoy your own time. At check-in, we received lounge vouchers worth 1,000 yen per person. We had planned to have dinner at a restaurant outside and didn’t find anything we wanted at the shop. When I asked at the front desk, they suggested having homemade ginger ale in our Room after dinner. You order it at the front desk and bring it back yourself, but it was a great suggestion. If I have friends who want to stay in Karuizawa again, this is a Hotel I would recommend.

We had a wonderful time with our dog. The meals were delicious. The service was excellent. We were able to spend lots of quality time with our dog. We’d love to come again.

This is a very comfortable and pleasant Hotel. The Hotel is located right in the center of Old Karuizawa, within an easy and enjoyable walking distance for an early-morning breakfast. All the staff were welcoming and friendly, always with a smile. We were upgraded as there was availability, and they even let us check the Room before check-in. There are chairs along the corridor leading to the lobby, making it a nice spot to sit and relax. Thanks to everyone on the staff, we were able to enjoy a truly relaxing stay. Thank you very much.

My sister and her husband from the U.S. visited Japan, and we used this accommodation for a one-night trip with our parents. The maisonette had 3 rooms with baths, each spacious, and the first floor featured a kitchen-equipped dining area and a living room with a fireplace, providing ample space even for 7 people. The center lounge offered alcohol-free drinks from morning to evening, which was perfect for those who enjoy non-alcoholic beverages (laughs). The young staff provided excellent service, while the experienced staff offered solid support when needed. We booked quite early at a very reasonable price; although there was an additional fee for early check-in, we opted for it. Please note that lounge access is available only after check-in. One night felt too short—I’d love to stay 2 or 3 nights next time!

I made a Reservation because this Accommodation was reasonably priced and fairly close for sightseeing in Karuizawa. On arrival, there was welcome coffee from Mikado Coffee, and amenities were provided as well. Please note that pajamas are not provided. The Room was spacious and even had two TVs. I was also happy to find Mikado Coffee drip packs in the Room. A few things stood out: the Room felt a bit dated, I would have preferred newer slippers, and I saw a small ant while taking a bath—so it would be great if there were screens or something similar (it wasn’t so bad that it ruined the stay). That said, the breakfast included was very luxurious and exceeded the price! Since Karuizawa has stylish cafes, I think it would be nice to have a No Meals Included Plan as well. This summer, we decided to travel from hot Tokyo to Karuizawa, and while searching for a Hotel, we found HACIENDA, which had just opened, and stayed there. It’s directly connected to the station, which is very convenient. As soon as we stepped inside, it was quiet and beautifully designed; the warmth and scent of the wood were truly soothing. The Room was clean, spotless, and spacious—an extremely comfortable space. The welcome herbal tea was delicious. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept soundly. The amenities were also so cute that they lifted my mood. We could use the adjacent spa and lounge as many times as we wanted during our stay—what a wonderful Accommodation perk! My husband said the sauna and bath were amazing and went in again and again. We’ve been saying as a couple, “We want to make this our go-to place for summer trips.” Not only in summer—we’d love to visit again in a different season. All of the staff were kind with just the right level of attentiveness. I usually get tired from staying at Hotels, but here I was able to relax without feeling drained.
