I stayed for one night with my parents. The room was very spacious and stylish, yet it felt calm and relaxing. We enjoyed the sauna and unwound in the large bath. The bed was wide and very comfortable. I had read in a Review that breakfast portions were small, but for older guests it was more than enough, and we really enjoyed the delicious freshly cooked rice. I would love to stay again.

This was my first stay, and it was an excellent property. It’s a new, sophisticated hotel, and every area of the facility—from the sense of vertical space to the way shadows are used and the carefully designed indirect lighting—made me want to stay there all day. The dining experience was also wonderful, with well-spaced seating, thoughtful staff check-ins, perfect timing of service, and clear explanations of each dish. I would love to return in a different season. Thank you to all the staff.

The hotel and our room were very clean. All the staff were very friendly, and it’s a hotel I’d like to stay at again. Although the weather was bad during our stay, they lent us a dog stroller and a rain cover, which was a great help. Thank you very much. We didn’t get to meet the resident Golden Retriever, so we’d love to stay again.

It was a very comfortable space, and there were bathrooms with a sauna and jet bath on both the 1st and 2nd floors, so two families could use them without hesitation. There were also thoughtful provisions that made it possible to cook for ourselves, allowing us to enjoy a very fulfilling stay. Thank you very much.

We chose this place because the Karuizawa outlet area gets crowded and it’s hard to enjoy a relaxing summer retreat there—and it was absolutely the right decision! Everything from the Room to the Onsen has been beautifully renovated, and we were very satisfied. And for train lovers, it was a real treat to be able to take a monorail to the Onsen. Even if you don’t ride it, you can get there quickly by stairs. We’d love to stay again.

This was our first stay because it’s a Hotel where you can stay with pets. Unfortunately it rained, but there was an indoor dog run, which was great. Our dog wore a diaper inside the Hotel, but some dogs in the dog run were not wearing diapers and had accidents there, so I wish diapers were required in the indoor dog run. There were also pet toilet sheets available, so it would have been nice if they used those. Dinner was fully booked so we couldn’t eat there, but breakfast was delicious. The corn soup was especially good. Our dog also seemed to enjoy the “wan-burg” and finished it all. The staff were very dog-friendly and kind. It would have been even better if the Hotel had an Onsen. We’d like to stay again next time.

While the Facility shows its age, the view from the window and the wonderful hospitality of the staff more than make up for it. Even though it was a busy season, we were able to truly relax. Thank you very much.

The complimentary drinks in the lobby lounge, the Room, the Onsen, the parking service, and access to the shopping mall were all excellent.

I stayed here again, as I did last year. This time, I split my stay into two parts: 2 nights and then 3 nights—first on the east side, and the last 3 nights on the west side. The west side is better. I plan to stay here again next year.

We stayed with 4 people and 1 dog. The Room was odor-free, and we barely heard any other dogs, making it very comfortable. It would be nice to have a few more amenities. There was a note about limitations on the bathwater, but it turned out to be fine. Thank you!

Mount Myogi rose like a folding screen, and the scenery was spectacular! The Hotel was clean, and the Onsen had great water. Meals were buffet-style for both breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately, it wasn’t food I’d want to eat again... There are many sightseeing spots nearby, so we were able to stop by various places and had a very fulfilling trip.

After a whirlwind stretch of busy days, I chose this place for a long-awaited day off—and it was absolutely the right decision. The most outstanding feature was the breathtaking view from the Room. Simply taking in the scenery, I could feel my built-up fatigue Clear away. The entire Facility was also impeccably clean, and it was clear that everything is carefully maintained down to the smallest details. What helped me personally was having a spacious layout with a kitchen included. Despite the high-quality setting, I could do simple cooking and eat whenever I wanted, allowing me to relax as if I were living there. This is a wonderful Accommodation where you can truly recharge your energy.

I made a Reservation because this Accommodation was reasonably priced and fairly close for sightseeing in Karuizawa. On arrival, there was welcome coffee from Mikado Coffee, and amenities were provided as well. Please note that pajamas are not provided. The Room was spacious and even had two TVs. I was also happy to find Mikado Coffee drip packs in the Room. A few things stood out: the Room felt a bit dated, I would have preferred newer slippers, and I saw a small ant while taking a bath—so it would be great if there were screens or something similar (it wasn’t so bad that it ruined the stay). That said, the breakfast included was very luxurious and exceeded the price! Since Karuizawa has stylish cafes, I think it would be nice to have a No Meals Included Plan as well. We wanted to enjoy restaurants in Karuizawa, so we chose this Accommodation with No Meals Included. The bed was very comfortable, the bathtub was spacious, and the shower had plenty of hot water. For breakfast (8:00–10:00), you can order a hot sandwich and a drink at the café on the first floor—it was very delicious. The owner also shared recommendations for great bakeries and local tips. This is a Hotel we would like to stay at again.

It was my first time staying at the updated Mori no Hanare. It took a little getting used to, but it was just as wonderful as ever. Thank you very much.
