Every year, we make sure to visit in summer as well. Right in front of you is a sandy beach with an amazing view—it feels like a private beach, and the sunsets are beautiful. Dinner is outstanding, with delicious Japanese and Western dishes such as appetizers, sashimi, wagyu beef, nigiri sushi, and dessert. There is also a carefully selected lineup of drinks every time, including wine and sake—everything is truly exceptional. Breakfast is also wonderful: herb salad, locally made sausages from a nearby farm, truffle omelet, bread, and more—every item is genuinely delicious. We are sincerely grateful. The owner, proprietress, chef—everyone is calm and welcoming, making it very comfortable to stay. It’s such a lovely Accommodation that we’d visit every month if we could. I stayed for one night during the Obon holiday period, and it was a truly wonderful stay. With only 10 Rooms, the Accommodation was very quiet and private, and I hardly ran into other guests during my stay. The Room was spacious and spotless, and the open-air bath in the Room was very relaxing, allowing me to unwind at a leisurely pace. The food was also excellent, and I was extremely satisfied.

We stayed at Kamogawa 919, a traditional house sauna Accommodation, as a group with friends. First of all, the atmosphere was stylish and welcoming. While preserving the charm of an old traditional home, it was also very clean and comfortable. The sauna we had been looking forward to was an authentic wood-fired sauna—something you rarely get to experience in central Tokyo. The gentle, enveloping heat unique to firewood felt wonderful, and being able to enjoy löyly ourselves was another highlight. After working up a good sweat, we relaxed outdoors while watching the beautiful sunset from the veranda. Listening to birdsong and feeling the natural breeze as we unwound was pure bliss—it instantly melted away everyday fatigue. In the evening, we cooked together using fresh local ingredients we had bought nearby and enjoyed a laid-back time with drinks in hand. Spending time chatting with like-minded friends was truly special—a luxurious experience you can’t easily find in the city. Surrounded by nature, we were able to fully enjoy the sauna, meals, and time with friends. It was an outstanding Accommodation that refreshed both body and mind. We’d love to stay again.

Your thoughtful hospitality was wonderful, and we felt right at home! Everything we could have wanted was provided, so we were able to relax and enjoy our time freely without being tied to any plans. Thank you. Our two older children also had a great time with the manga and table games. The bathroom was spacious and very relaxing. Our daughter, who prefers showers, was happy she could quickly take a shower as well. Buu-chan the cat was absolutely adorable. We’d love to stay again. Thank you very much!
