We stayed with three family members and one dog. The Room was very clean, the private open-air bath was relaxing, and the meals were generous. If we have the chance, we would love to stay again.

This was my third stay. I stayed in the same Room with a kitchen as last time. The Room had been renovated and was very clean. In the evening, we could see Mt. Fuji from the Room, which made my mother very happy. For dinner, instead of ordering the boat sashimi platter we had last time, we took out sushi and ate it in the Room. Dinner is served in your Room here, so you can relax without worrying about others. I wanted to take it easy in the morning, so I chose no breakfast. If you want a hearty breakfast, I recommend booking a plan with breakfast included.\nThe beach was quiet since it was before Obon. There were lifeguards on duty as well, so it felt safe. Unfortunately, perhaps because it was after 3:00 PM on the day we went, the beach huts were closed. It rained the next day, so we gave up on going to the beach—but students from some school were swimming even in the rain.\nI’d love to come back to Iwai for another beach trip next year too.

This year, my wife and I stayed here on our way to Mt. Nokogiri. The sea is right in front of the Hotel, and the view was amazing. The Room was very clean, as if it had been renovated. The meals were fresh and very delicious. The staff were kind as well. When we visit the area again, we would love to stay here again.

While the exterior is not flashy or luxurious at all, the rooms are very stylish and spotlessly clean, and both the food and service were excellent—we were extremely satisfied. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed for one night with the Plan that includes a BBQ dinner. As described, there was an excellent selection of dog amenities. We brought shampoo supplies from home just in case we needed to use the dog shower, but everything was so well provided that we didn’t need them at all. Tateyama in March was colder than we expected, and we realized we hadn’t prepared well enough. Our dog isn’t very comfortable going out, but before our baby is born, we wanted to make some memories with our beloved dog—this is the place we chose after searching carefully. Walking along the coast during our morning walk is also a moment we’ll always remember.\nThank you very much.

Until now, we had stayed at a Hotel a little further past yours, but since we always stop by Fish on the way back, my mother said she wanted to stay here, so this was our first time. We chose the BBQ for dinner, but because it was our first time, we couldn’t figure out how to light it even after looking at the tablet. Also, the cassette stove wouldn’t ignite and we could smell gas, so we contacted the front desk. You checked immediately and promptly replaced the stove and showed us how to use the BBQ grill stove. The staff, Room, welcome drink, meals, amenities—everything was perfect. However, I’m not very comfortable with the ocean, and I was scared by the sound of waves crashing against the rocks and the wall in front of the deck as well as by the spray, so I couldn’t fall asleep at night. We would like to stay again—would it be possible to request a Room on the sandy beach side next time? Are Rooms on that side mainly for guests with dogs or family-type Rooms?

Room: The room and other facilities are old, but they have a charming atmosphere that added to the experience. Bath: Located in a separate building across a picturesque garden, the bath was delightful with excellent hot water. Meals: Mostly seafood dishes, including abalone sashimi. Everything was delicious and highly satisfying.

Having had a great impression last time, I decided to return after several years, and my positive feelings have only grown. First, the accommodation is impeccably maintained and cleaned in every corner, making for a very pleasant stay. This level of care is not easy to achieve. The meals are heartfelt and allow you to fully enjoy the bounty of the sea. Additionally, while the panoramic bath with an ocean view is not an onsen, it can be enjoyed in the morning as well and was spotlessly clean. The guest rooms and bedding are simple as it is a guesthouse, but yukata robes and bath towels are provided. It may not suit those seeking luxury ryokan services; however, for travelers looking for an enjoyable trip at a reasonable price, I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation.

We stayed here as our accommodation for a two-day trip to Tateyama. We enjoyed plenty of fresh seafood from Tateyama while using the terrace barbecue grill, all with a stunning view of the ocean right in front of us. The interior was very clean, and it was fully equipped with tableware and amenities, even featuring a luxurious sauna. There were four of us staying, but since it's a three-story building with ample space, it could easily accommodate larger groups as well.

Stayed with four colleagues, making a group of five men. The sauna was authentic and spacious enough for all five of us! The temperature was high, and self-pouring löyly was available. Since there was no cold plunge pool, we filled the jacuzzi with water to use instead, but the water temperature felt a bit warm and less satisfying. Other than that, everything was perfect! The pool was enjoyable, and the barbecue grill was user-friendly and convenient. We also had fun with karaoke. The beds were soft and comfortable, allowing for a great night's sleep. Would love to stay here again!
