It was incredibly spacious, stylish, and spotless—simply amazing! Since the BBQ area is covered, you can enjoy it without worrying about the weather, whether it’s sunny or rainy. The dog run is also huge—plenty of space even for large dogs to sprint around freely. There were a few clouds at night, so unfortunately we couldn’t see many stars, but on a clear night you should be able to enjoy a sky full of them. The neighboring houses are far enough away that you can truly relax without worrying about being seen. One downside is that, as noted in the instructions, the road leading to the Accommodation is quite narrow. It felt just barely manageable with our minivan. If you have a large vehicle or aren’t confident driving on tight roads, it may be difficult. It’s probably best to avoid checking in after dark or heading back out for supplies once you’ve arrived. Aside from that one point, this was an absolutely fantastic Accommodation! Highly recommended!

It was a wonderful building and a clean Room. We could feel the thoughtful attention in everything, including the kitchenware and bathroom amenities. The view was amazing, and the sunset was beautiful. We were slightly bothered at times by people fishing passing in front of the house, but otherwise it was perfect. We would like to stay again.

Two families with kids stayed for two nights. The terrace and lawn, where you can have the breathtaking satoyama views all to yourself, were simply incredible—we felt refreshed far beyond what two nights would normally allow. We’ve stayed at many private rental homes, but it was rare (and greatly appreciated) to find information about an on-site private chef on the property’s own website—it was the deciding factor for our Reservation. Being able to enjoy a meal in such a wonderful setting, combined with perfect weather, made this an unforgettable stay. Having access to a fire pit was also fantastic. The hill is indeed steep in parts (like some roads in Izu or Shimoda), but the steep section is short, and driving a typical sedan didn’t feel overly stressful. (It might be different with a wider or longer vehicle like a Jeep or van.) As for insects: I’m someone who can’t even stand seeing roaches and can’t clean up after them—but other than pests, bugs don’t bother me—so it didn’t concern me at all. We did use insect spray at times (I would have left them alone, but one of our friends dislikes bugs), and it was a freezing-type spray rather than one with insecticidal chemicals, which was another big plus. The interior was clean and comfortable, and we also liked how much storage there was in the bedrooms. Since it’s a traditional old house, the walls are thin (voices from the living room or tatami room carry into the bedrooms), and laying out futons in the tatami room is self-service. The kitchen equipment, plates, and wine glasses were well stocked in both variety and quantity. In addition to basic seasonings, it was convenient that leftover condiments from previous guests were kept in the refrigerator as-is. On the other hand, there’s no dishwasher; also, kitchen ventilation wasn’t great for our taste, and we found the dining area size/atmosphere—and especially the lighting—a bit too bright. Still, none of that compares to this one-of-a-kind location and how wonderful the terrace and garden feel.

This was my first stay. The Room was very clean and comfortable, which made it a great place to relax. I also enjoyed the BBQ dinner, as I could eat at my own pace. I recommend it because you can spend your time here slowly and peacefully.

There were several flies in the Room, and the shower drainage was slow, which was a bit concerning. It would have been better if insect repellent was placed in an easily noticeable spot! The atmosphere and location were excellent. Sunset Beach was breathtaking. The terrace bathtub kept the kids entertained, while adults could enjoy a relaxing BBQ. The large BBQ grill was very convenient. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Thank you very much for your hospitality. We were able to spend a relaxing time with our family over the New Year holidays in an amazing location! The beautiful weather made the sunset views even more spectacular. The amenities were excellent, and we enjoyed the sauna, pool as a cold plunge, and even had a family karaoke competition. We would love to stay here again in the future!

We stayed here as our accommodation for a two-day trip to Tateyama. We enjoyed plenty of fresh seafood from Tateyama while using the terrace barbecue grill, all with a stunning view of the ocean right in front of us. The interior was very clean, and it was fully equipped with tableware and amenities, even featuring a luxurious sauna. There were four of us staying, but since it's a three-story building with ample space, it could easily accommodate larger groups as well.

It was a wonderful place. The cleaning was thorough in every corner. We often stay at rental villas because we have a dog, but while the rooms are usually clean, many places have gardens overgrown with weeds, making it hard to let our dog play outside. However, this accommodation had a well-maintained lawn in the garden, which was perfect. The staff were very kind and made us feel at ease. They even gave our dog a toy as a gift—such thoughtful hospitality! For those who enjoy fishing, there is also a fishing port nearby, so I highly recommend it. The BBQ area has a roof, so you can enjoy it without worry. The stars visible from the facility were incredibly beautiful as well. We would love to stay here again in the future. A 2-minute walk to Haraoka Pier (Okamoto Pier). From the Room you can also see the pier and Mt. Fuji, with the sea right in front—an unbeatable location. The building is old, but the Room has been nicely renovated; you lay out the futon and use it with fresh new sheets. There is no bathtub, only a shower, but there are also nearby day-use Onsen facilities, a roadside station, and convenience stores. If you don’t need luxury, it offers excellent value for money. Strawberry picking at the roadside station was fun too. It also has air conditioning, a TV, and Wi‑Fi. I’d like to come back and try SUP in the warmer season as well. The closest vending machine to the pier is also at this Accommodation—I enjoyed a warm coffee at dawn.

Having had a great impression last time, I decided to return after several years, and my positive feelings have only grown. First, the accommodation is impeccably maintained and cleaned in every corner, making for a very pleasant stay. This level of care is not easy to achieve. The meals are heartfelt and allow you to fully enjoy the bounty of the sea. Additionally, while the panoramic bath with an ocean view is not an onsen, it can be enjoyed in the morning as well and was spotlessly clean. The guest rooms and bedding are simple as it is a guesthouse, but yukata robes and bath towels are provided. It may not suit those seeking luxury ryokan services; however, for travelers looking for an enjoyable trip at a reasonable price, I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation.

The Room and Facility are clean. Having laundry facilities was very helpful. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

This was our first time staying here. The pool, sauna, and jacuzzi were all in the garden, with plenty of space, and we enjoyed them very much! There are three Rooms, and all bedding is provided; we stayed with two people and two dogs, and it felt more than spacious enough! All tableware, appliances, and cooking utensils were provided, everything was clean, and we would love to stay again—and will recommend it to our friends!

Room: The room and other facilities are old, but they have a charming atmosphere that added to the experience. Bath: Located in a separate building across a picturesque garden, the bath was delightful with excellent hot water. Meals: Mostly seafood dishes, including abalone sashimi. Everything was delicious and highly satisfying.

Everything was excellent overall. The location is right in front of the ocean, and you can walk to the beach. We enjoyed a luxurious stay with our dog. The BBQ ingredients were also very delicious. It would be nice to have lights by the pool and a microwave. We would like to visit again.

Stayed with four colleagues, making a group of five men. The sauna was authentic and spacious enough for all five of us! The temperature was high, and self-pouring löyly was available. Since there was no cold plunge pool, we filled the jacuzzi with water to use instead, but the water temperature felt a bit warm and less satisfying. Other than that, everything was perfect! The pool was enjoyable, and the barbecue grill was user-friendly and convenient. We also had fun with karaoke. The beds were soft and comfortable, allowing for a great night's sleep. Would love to stay here again!
