There was also a tasting set that let you compare sake from five Suwa breweries; I visited my favorite brewery the next day and bought some sake. Although it is a large Accommodation, the staff’s hospitality was wonderful, and I had a very pleasant stay. I would love to visit a

We enjoyed four Onsen baths: the “Top-Floor Scenic View Bath,” “Kiseki no Yu,” the “Semi-Open-Air Bath,” and the open-air bath on the Room terrace. The “Kiseki no Iyashi Japanese-Western Room with Open-Air Bath” was also equipped with an electric bed and bathrobes, making it very

This year we also joined the free Suwa Taisha tour. The content was good enough that you could charge for it, so we felt it was excellent value. Overall, this is a truly wonderful Ryokan where you can relax and take your time. We would love to stay again next year. Thank you very

The spacious onsen bath in the guest room, with water flowing directly from the source, allowed me to enjoy a luxurious bath while gazing at Lake Suwa. I was able to enjoy a luxurious holiday in Shinshu that relaxed both body and mind. I am looking forward to staying again ne

There is also a private open-air bath, and it was wonderfully relaxing to soak in silence without worrying about anyone around. Breakfast was unhurried as well, and I could enjoy it slowly in a peaceful setting. Combined with Shimosuwa’s crisp morning air, it felt like time that

It was a blissful moment of relaxation. Although compact in size, both the large public bath and open-air bath were impeccably clean, with bright sunlight streaming through large glass windows creating a pleasant atmosphere. The baths are accessible anytime from check-in until

The taste was also very delicious. On a whim, I decided to visit Suwa Taisha, and there was a bus stop nearby. The front desk staff kindly provided directions. The hotel is by the lake, offering a fantastic view, and taking a walk early in the morning feels great! At night,

The accommodation and room were newly renovated, offering a simple yet cozy and relaxing space. From the balcony of our room with an onsen, we could enjoy fireworks, which delighted the kids. What impressed us the most was the hospitality of the staff. Traveling with children

It reminded me how special staying at a Ryokan can be. The Lake Suwa area has its own charm in every season, and I would love to stay again at a more leisurely pace. Thank you to all the staff for your kind hospitality—especially for guiding me to a spacious parking area despite

I would have been happy if there had been an Onsen within walking distance. The staff were very helpful, from guiding us to the parking lot to handling check-in and check-out. Some breakfast items ran out, so I would have liked better restocking.

The response was a bit curt, which was slightly disappointing. At other Hotels, staff have sometimes come closer to the parking area to assist. Other than that, I had no particular issues during my stay. For those arriving late at night, please note that the parking lot sign

Even if you take a limited express train after work, you can check in late, so you can head out without worry even if work runs a little late. Moreover, after the renovation following the COVID-19 pandemic, the Room has been renewed. I wash my body in the Room's bath and then enj

\nEveryone—front desk, dining staff, and housekeeping—is friendly and courteous. The building isn’t new, but it’s very clean. Amenities are plentiful: at check-in you can choose items like lotion, toner, and cleansing products, and the Room also comes with disposable slippers.\nT

The Onsen is not very large; there are about four washing stations available. I went in late at night and had it all to myself! The Onsen seemed accessible at any time of day or night. If there were non-smoking Rooms available next time, I would definitely want to stay again.

It is not luxurious, but the room and onsen are sufficient and satisfying accommodation. The dinner portions are large, which might be tough for the elderly, but other guests were doing their best to finish. Carp was served at dinner, but both my wife and I are not fans of ca
