We stayed with our child, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail. They prepared futons for our child’s nap, and even provided a baby bouncer and a diaper trash bin, which made us feel comfortable and at ease throughout our stay. The meals were excellent, and we were very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. We also loved that the soft drinks, beer, and other beverages stocked in the refrigerator were complimentary. Drinks were available after bathing as well, and we felt that every small service was well taken care of. All staff members were polite and attentive, making our stay pleasant from start to finish. This is a wonderful Ryokan where families with children can stay with peace of mind.

The Onsen, the food, the service, and the Room were all beyond our expectations, and we were able to truly relax. It had been a while since we stayed in a Japanese-style room; lying on the tatami and gazing at the garden, we enjoyed the luxury of doing absolutely nothing. The only disappointment was that while the private bath has a wonderful ocean view, there is an apartment building directly in front of it, and I was quite concerned that the washing area might be visible from there.

This was my second stay—last time with my family, and this time with my mother and siblings. The ocean is right in front of you, the Room is spacious, and the hot spring source is just behind the property. The number of dishes, the staff’s service, and everything about the Onsen—its quality, cleanliness, and variety—are all just right. It’s a truly wonderful Accommodation. It seems like New Year’s holidays are decided by lottery, but I’m hoping we get selected.

Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. Because the Hotel is built on a hill, the night view of Atami was spectacular. The bath is a little small, but the Onsen was relaxing and we were able to unwind. It was also great that we could reserve it for private use late at night. The meals were delicious, and we enjoyed all the thoughtful performances and touches. We were surprised to find our names embroidered on the napkins. We were allowed to take them home. The goats and ducks were also very soothing. We stayed to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it was a one-night stay that left both of us completely satisfied. If we have the chance to visit again, we look forward to seeing what kind of services await us next time. Thank you very much.

The Hotel staff were wonderful, and the food and baths were excellent!

There are five private open-air baths, all with ocean views. For this price, the convenient location near the station, private open-air baths, and two meals served in your Room offer excellent value for money.

Everything was amazing. Since we traveled by train, it was close to the station, and the location was great—we didn’t get wet in the rain even without an umbrella. But enjoying the Onsen in the rain was also wonderful. Above all, the meals were delicious. I’d love to visit again on a sunny day. Thank you very much for your kind and attentive hospitality.

We stayed for two nights, and on the second day we relaxed in our Room all day because of the typhoon. The meals had many dishes and tasted great, and we were able to take our time in the Onsen and truly feel refreshed. Everyone treated us kindly like family, which made us very happy. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

The Room was spacious and had a veranda-like deck called the Tsukimidai, with a nice view and the ocean visible in the distance. Meals were served in the Room, and every dish was delicious—we finished everything at both breakfast and dinner. However, it was disappointing that the drinks in the refrigerator were expensive. The Onsen also felt very open; while I did wonder if it might be visible from somewhere, I was still able to bathe comfortably. Another bath area was spacious, and the water in the roofed open-air bath left my skin feeling moisturized like lotion. Inside the building, it seems to have been expanded many times over the years, so some areas are a bit confusing, and many guests seemed to get lost. There were only a few souvenirs for sale, and there were no Facilities such as karaoke or table tennis, but it had an old-fashioned Ryokan atmosphere that we really enjoyed.

This was my second stay this year, and I visited with my mother. My mother is nearing her 88th birthday, but she still has a great appetite and finished everything, even having seconds from the rice tub. I visited long ago with my mother and grandmother as well, so I feel truly happy to have an Accommodation we can return to across three generations—my grandmother, my mother, and me. Unfortunately it rained this time, but thanks to that the signature stones and garden trees were gently wet, letting us enjoy a different kind of beautiful scenery than usual. Thank you again for your warm hospitality. I look forward to visiting again.

This Accommodation made me wish I could have extended my stay if I hadn’t had work the next day. From the parking guidance on arrival through to check-out, we received warm and pleasant hospitality. As it is a Ryokan with only a few Rooms, it felt very private, and we hardly ever shared the Onsen with other guests. It was a wonderful escape from everyday life and left us feeling refreshed. We would love to visit again.

We stayed here to celebrate my mother’s birthday. The meals were truly delicious, and I was especially happy to see my mother—who usually eats lightly—enjoy so much. Even while you were busy serving, you were very attentive, and when we shared how impressed we were with the dishes, you kindly explained the ideas and techniques behind them. It made for a wonderful time. We felt refreshed by the pleasant Onsen and your thoughtful hospitality. My mother is already excited to come back next time with her friends. This time, I stayed one night at Atami Pearl Star Hotel with a married couple who were friends from my university days. The place was very clean and spacious, and the service was excellent. All of the meals were delicious, with just the right portions, and we finished everything. We also enjoyed a relaxed breakfast. They even had local guri tea available, which I was very happy about. The amenities were great as well, and what made me happiest was the bed. It was the same as mine at home—soft with just the right firmness—so I slept very well. When I visit Atami again, I would like to stay at this Hotel again.

This was my first stay in Yugawara Onsen. The water is quite hot, which I personally like. The dishes were beautifully plated and a delight to look at as well. We were also very grateful to the staff who assisted us during meals—they were always smiling and very attentive. This isn’t specific to this Hotel, but regarding children’s meals: when we choose Child Sharing Existing Bedding and order only the meal, most places serve something like a kids’ set. Even if it’s paid, we would really appreciate having the option to choose just rice and miso soup. Our 2-year-old was kindly provided rice and miso soup free of charge. For our 5-year-old, we felt it wouldn’t be right not to order a meal, so we did—but we would be very thankful if there were options to choose from. I don’t want to end up finishing what my child leaves behind instead of enjoying the wonderful food myself—an admittedly selfish request. The dried horse mackerel at breakfast was absolutely delicious. We look forward to staying again when we visit Yugawara.

The ocean view from the Room is wonderful, as are the views of Atami and the sea from the restaurant. The guest Room is spacious and airy, and the Onsen bath is large enough to stretch out in. Dinner was especially delicious, particularly the stone-grilled beef tenderloin steak. It was a very satisfying stay.

The food quality was exceptionally high, making for a very satisfying stay. Compared with other Hotels in Atami Onsen or buffet venues in Kinugawa Onsen, the overall number of dishes is more modest, but signature items such as steak and crab are well covered, so you never get tired of the selection. The welcome service from 3:00 PM (alcohol, oden, Onsen manju, etc.) was also delicious. Breakfast stood out as well—especially the nikujaga and the freshness of the toppings for the DIY seafood rice bowl—and I ended up going back for seconds. Although many of the staff were from overseas, they were friendly and spoke Japanese well; it actually added a refreshing touch that helped me forget everyday life. The building itself feels a bit dated, but the Room and hallways are kept very clean. In particular, I’d give five stars to the fact that each Room has its own air conditioning (new units and outdoor condensers have been installed), so I could stay comfortable without being affected by seasonal centralized switching. Because the large public Onsen bath was under renovation, we had to use private baths or facilities at a sister Hotel—and there was no sauna—which was slightly disappointing (more like a 2–3 star point). However, this was more than made up for by the excellent ingredients and stunning ocean-view scenery. A great Hotel for fully enjoying a solo trip.

This was my first stay, and since the Accommodation is on a hill, the views were wonderful. The large public bath was spacious enough to relax and fully enjoy the Onsen. I was also happy that each guest was provided with two thick face towels and two thick bath towels. I only had breakfast, but there was a good variety and it was delicious. The Shuttle Service bus schedule and the fact that no Reservation was required made it very convenient overall. Considering the value for money, this is an excellent Accommodation that I would like to visit again.

I had wanted to stay here for a long time. The Room was spacious and very clean, with a great view. The meals were delicious, and since the restaurant is large, even at the buffet there was no congestion when serving food, so we could enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. The Onsen was wonderful, the Shuttle Service was courteous, and all the staff were kind with excellent hospitality. It’s also great value for money, so we were very satisfied. We would like to make this our regular Accommodation in Atami. Thank you very much.

I stayed in a newly renovated Room with an open-air bath. The Room was spacious, and the open-air bath was large enough to relax in comfortably, which was great. The food was carefully prepared and very delicious.
