"Kappo Ryokan Wakamatsu" was established in 1922 (Taisho 11) in Hakodate. Since then, it has been cherished for nearly a century as a long-established Ryokan offering the finest hospitality in Hakodate Yunokawa Onsen, one of Hokkaido's premier tourist destinations. In 1954 (Showa 29), it was honored to host His Majesty the Emperor during his tour of Hokkaido, and in recent years, it has been awarded one star in the "Michelin Guide Hokkaido."
