I found this Ryokan while looking for a trip to give my boyfriend as a birthday present, also as a thank-you for his proposal. This was an important trip for me, and everything—from the hospitality to the Onsen, the food, and the Room—was wonderful. It was a truly heartwarming Ryokan. When I asked about bringing in wine as a surprise, they responded and accommodated my request promptly and with great care. I didn’t expect such thoughtful support, and I’m very grateful. In the end, he was delighted, and we were able to spend a lovely time together. While searching for a Ryokan, I saw many reviews praising the hospitality, and after staying here I completely understand why. The service from our attendant and all other staff was excellent, making this trip even more special. We also enjoyed seasonal flavors in the cuisine, and since it was served in our Room we could relax and enjoy it at our own pace. The words said to us at departure—“We look forward to welcoming you again in another season”—left a strong impression on me. We would love to visit again.

A family trip with two families to celebrate my mother’s 77th birthday and my nephew’s birthday. The surprise cake at dinner made it a wonderful family memory. I have been staying here for some time, and recently I always stay for three nights. Each time, the property is quiet and thoroughly cleaned throughout. The wonderful, delicious meals were excellent, and both the open-air bath and the large public bath were spotless. The background music was also pleasant. The Room has two rooms with a veranda, and it was the perfect size for just my spouse and me. The staff’s service was also good.

This Accommodation, Sagamiya, was a wonderful place where we could truly feel traditional Japanese hospitality. As soon as we arrived by car, the staff noticed us right away and came out to assist, kindly helping us park with ease. They guided us to our Room, and the attendant came to greet us and made tea for us. These days we often stay at more Western-style Hotels, so it was a pleasure to enjoy this Japanese-style hospitality again after a long time. We enjoyed a delicious in-room meal in the tatami Room with a lovely view. The open-air bath in the Room was also excellent, and even one night was enough to leave us feeling fully refreshed. All of the staff were very pleasant. We also appreciated the many thoughtful touches throughout our stay—it felt reassuring that experienced staff could make good judgments on the spot. We would love to visit again.

We stayed here for the first time on his birthday, and everything was wonderful. He was delighted and said it was the best Accommodation he has ever stayed at! The teppanyaki meal was delicious, and the Onsen temperature was adjusted so it could be enjoyed even in summer, making it very comfortable and relaxing. I love the meals here and have returned several times. This time, I enjoyed the chef’s special kaiseki featuring splendid alfonsino, and truly savored it. Everything was delicious. We had planned to visit Hiramatsu in Okinawa this time, but our flight was canceled due to a typhoon. Although it was a last-minute Reservation made the day before, we quickly changed our plans to Atami. I had stayed in Atami once about eight years ago, and every time I visit, the reason I can enjoy such a comfortable stay is thanks to the wonderful hospitality of all the staff. A staff member who had transferred from Okinawa to Atami said, “It’s a shame about Okinawa this time,” which made me feel relieved and truly happy. The female manager also remembered our conversation from eight years ago. I was feeling a bit down about not being able to go to Okinawa, but the kindness of everyone on the team comforted me, and it became another great trip. I truly felt that Hiramatsu properties across The whole country offer outstanding service and teamwork because the management philosophy is exceptional.

The building was new and very clean, and the Room was thoroughly cleaned down to every corner. It was spacious, and we had a very comfortable stay. The meals were also delicious. Although the staff were from overseas, they were kind and helpful—thank you very much. As it was our 13th wedding anniversary, we also received a surprise dessert plate—thank you very much.

We stayed as a group of five with our daughter and son-in-law and our 5-month-old grandchild. It was our grandchild’s very first trip and their first Onsen experience. As it was a weekday, we were upgraded to the highest-grade Room, which made our stay extremely comfortable with no inconveniences at all. The attendant who looked after us seemed relatively new, but provided courteous service with care in every detail. The private open-air bath was wonderful, and we enjoyed delicious meals. The simmered golden eye snapper in particular had a gentle seasoning and was outstanding. It was also our first time trying the mixed breakfast dish, and it was very tasty. The location is close to Atami Ginza and Sun Beach, making it perfect for strolling around and enjoying local food. Thanks to you, it was a truly satisfying trip in every way. Thank you very much.

This was my first visit, and I was completely satisfied. While many places operate with a small team these days, I was surprised by how many staff members there were here. The Room I reserved was excellent—an in-room bath, a massage chair, and a view that couldn’t be better. The three baths were also great, each with its own unique atmosphere. The guests were calm and respectful, so I could relax and enjoy a peaceful stay. This has become an Accommodation I’d love to visit again.

I booked this stay because of the great Reviews, and it really caught my interest. After sightseeing at Kinomiya Shrine, we took a taxi there, and they warmly welcomed us at the entrance upon arrival. We were traveling with our 4-year-old and 1-year-old children, and everyone was so kind that the kids seemed to have a wonderful time. And above all, I was amazed at how incredibly delicious the food was. My husband and I weren’t very hungry when we went to dinner, but every dish was so good that before we knew it, we had finished everything. Even the appetizers were outstanding. We’ve traveled to many places before, but this was the first time we’ve had food this delicious. The children’s meal was also excellent, and even our child who usually eats very little seemed to eat a lot. Since our younger child is still small, my younger child and I used the in-Room bath, but it was spacious and spotless, so we enjoyed it more than enough. When we come to Atami again, I definitely want to stay here again!

Just as the Reviews said, everything was very well maintained, every meal was delicious, and the bath was clean and comfortable, so we could relax and enjoy it at our own pace. The garden and the interior design of the walkways were also wonderful, giving us many ways to enjoy our stay. All of the staff provided pleasant and welcoming service. With its simple design and calming atmosphere, this Accommodation is recommended for restoring both body and mind. In particular, the Japanese and herbal tea lounge on the 8th floor lets you blend Japanese tea with herbal ingredients yourself, place them into a tea bag, and enjoy a wellness tea while relaxing music plays—an experience that left us fully satisfied.

The ocean view from the Room is wonderful, as are the views of Atami and the sea from the restaurant. The guest Room is spacious and airy, and the Onsen bath is large enough to stretch out in. Dinner was especially delicious, particularly the stone-grilled beef tenderloin steak. It was a very satisfying stay.

We were talking with friends about wanting to see the Atami fireworks, and that’s how we found Atami Terrace. We’d often seen it on Instagram, so although it was a bit pricey for us, we decided to make the Reservation since it was a special occasion—and we were absolutely thrilled! Nothing blocked the view: an amazing collaboration of the sea, illuminations, and fireworks right in front of us. The powerful sound that you could feel in your stomach was truly moving. The service was just as impressive as the fireworks. The buffet meals—both dinner and breakfast—offered great variety, and unlike many Hotels like this, there was hardly any waiting in line. For my friend who has trouble walking and uses a cane, there was a cart that could carry a tray while moving around, and she seemed happy to be able to choose as much as she wanted. We were also surprised by the all-you-can-drink beer. We also enjoyed plenty inside the Hotel—late-night soba noodles, plus tea and sweets in the lounge. And with the beach right in front of you, I think it would be perfect for swimming too. It’s beautiful overall, and the Room is compact but well organized—we felt relaxed throughout our stay. We’ve already made another Reservation for the November fireworks festival. We’re really looking forward to it.

We previously had an amazing time watching the Atami fireworks up close, so we came back with our dog. With its consistently great location, we were able to fully enjoy the fireworks festival again. Our family loves this place so much that we’d happily stay here again and again, but we would appreciate it even more if you could consider the following: For a Multiple Night Stay with takeout meals, there are clearly not enough dishes and utensils. It would be very helpful to have dish soap and a sponge, paper towels, and large trash bags. We also used the instant ramen vending machine on the 2nd floor, which our child loved. However, there are only a few topping options available compared to the number of ramen servings in stock. We would be happy if you could consider restocking more frequently or increasing the amount provided. That said, I think we’ll be back again. Next time, we’d love to enjoy the autumn/winter fireworks as well. Thank you very much.

This was our second stay, and the wonderful hospitality, delicious meals, and above all the bath in the Room were outstanding. The amenities are so well stocked that you can come almost empty-handed with just a change of clothes, and my wife was thrilled with the hair dryer.

Searched for Accommodation with an open-air bath in the Room The Room was exactly what we wanted, and we had a wonderful holiday—no need to carry bath items or a change of clothes to the large public bath, and we could enjoy the Onsen whenever we liked. We chose a Plan with breakfast only. The dried horse mackerel was very delicious. For us, who can’t eat that much, it was just the right amount. Enjoying coffee in the lounge while taking in the lovely view overlooking the harbor was also wonderful. Although it felt like being nestled in the woods, we didn’t see any insects. It was a lovely Accommodation that we would like to use again.

I gave my elderly mother, who can go anywhere on her own, a solo trip as a gift. When she returned home, she was truly delighted and spoke very highly of the wonderful service provided by the Ryokan staff. The meals were also delicious, and above all, it seems she was able to relax completely. Thank you very much.
