We stayed with our child, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail. They prepared futons for our child’s nap, and even provided a baby bouncer and a diaper trash bin, which made us feel comfortable and at ease throughout our stay. The meals were excellent, and we were very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. We also loved that the soft drinks, beer, and other beverages stocked in the refrigerator were complimentary. Drinks were available after bathing as well, and we felt that every small service was well taken care of. All staff members were polite and attentive, making our stay pleasant from start to finish. This is a wonderful Ryokan where families with children can stay with peace of mind.

The Onsen, the food, the service, and the Room were all beyond our expectations, and we were able to truly relax. It had been a while since we stayed in a Japanese-style room; lying on the tatami and gazing at the garden, we enjoyed the luxury of doing absolutely nothing. The only disappointment was that while the private bath has a wonderful ocean view, there is an apartment building directly in front of it, and I was quite concerned that the washing area might be visible from there.

We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. The Facilities, the staff’s atmosphere, and the meals were all excellent. It was clear that each staff member truly loves dogs and enjoys working here. We would definitely like to stay again.

As we had never stayed in Atami before, we chose this Hotel for our 40th wedding anniversary trip. When I mentioned it to the staff at check-in, they surprised us with an anniversary dessert plate at dinner. It was beautifully done, and we truly appreciated the care they put into it for us. We chose a Room with an open-air bath. We were able to relax and soak while enjoying the view. The large public bath was also very pleasant. The meals were a delight for both the eyes and the palate. We were told the menu had just changed to the autumn selection, and in particular, the tilefish scale-grilled dish was outstanding. At breakfast the next morning, I noticed that the flowers in the vase on our table were different from those at dinner; when I asked a staff member, they said they change them between night and morning. I was impressed by such thoughtful attention to detail. Breakfast was also served as a course meal, and it was fun being able to choose between an egg dish or curry. The butter served with the bread was white in color with a rich flavor—absolutely delicious. Overall, every staff member provided courteous service and had wonderful smiles. Their attentive yet unobtrusive approach felt just right. As someone who lives a busy day-to-day life, thank you for giving me such an extraordinary escape—it became a truly memorable trip thanks to you all. We would love to visit again soon.

All staff members who supported us were incredibly hospitable, and it made our trip truly wonderful. Our whole family was very satisfied—thank you! The facilities were up to date, and the security was excellent. The Ryokan was also very clean and hygienic. Both dinner and breakfast were delicately and elegantly seasoned, everything was fresh, and we enjoyed every dish—it was all delicious. This is a Hotel we would definitely want to stay at again! Thank you as well for preparing surprise plates for us on two consecutive days!

This was a high-quality Accommodation where you could truly appreciate the chef’s excellent sense of taste in both the quality and quantity of the food. The bath was also wonderful and left a strong impression on me. I was particularly struck by a Nepalese female staff member who spoke Japanese well; she looked worried because a local bridge in her hometown had been washed away in a landslide disaster in Nepal.

This was my second stay—last time with my family, and this time with my mother and siblings. The ocean is right in front of you, the Room is spacious, and the hot spring source is just behind the property. The number of dishes, the staff’s service, and everything about the Onsen—its quality, cleanliness, and variety—are all just right. It’s a truly wonderful Accommodation. It seems like New Year’s holidays are decided by lottery, but I’m hoping we get selected.

Surrender to a serene space and listen to the sounds of the gorge as time passes quietly. The in-room Onsen, kept at a gentle temperature, invites you to soak slowly as body and mind unwind. This timeworn wooden building lives on, its age transformed into beauty. Every corner of the Accommodation is carefully maintained, and its presence carries unmistakable elegance. And then—clear dashi broth, the richness of local fish, and the fragrance of matsutake mushrooms. Each ingredient’s character is brought out with care, with thoughtful attention to layered flavors, lingering finishes, and the flow of each kaiseki course. An Accommodation where you can come close to the essence of beauty.

We traveled with our 3-month-old baby. With breakfast and dinner served in the Room and a private bath, we were able to relax and take our time. The staff kindly laid out the futons early and spoke to us gently, and their warm hospitality was truly comforting. The meals at the restaurant were excellent—we even had seconds of rice. Both the Room and the garden were beautifully maintained, making our stay very pleasant. We had wondered if it would be an issue without an open-air bath, but the in-Room bath was more than enough for us to enjoy.

It was a relief to see the people who had taken care of me before. Set on a quiet hill with great views, the staff were all cheerful and courteous, the Room was clean, the Onsen was relaxing, and the full-course meal was delicious—more than enough to be fully satisfied. Unfortunately it was raining when I left, but at checkout they lent me an umbrella and told me to take it home, which really helped. This is an Accommodation I would like to stay at again.

We stayed here for a maternity trip and to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We were impressed by Atagawa’s charming entrance and the refined elegance of the interior. The hinoki indoor bath, stone open-air bath, and luxurious amenities such as Sekkisei and Acca Kappa made our stay feel truly indulgent. Walking through the quiet stone garden to the dining venue, “Donkon,” we found an atmosphere so sophisticated it would suit a stylish wedding ceremony. The cuisine was lavish and beautifully prepared, and we enjoyed every moment. Two things especially moved us during dinner. One was the proprietress’s warm personality—graceful yet friendly—and she kindly explained highlights of each dish. The other was their thoughtful accommodation for pregnancy. When making our Reservation, I didn’t request any changes, thinking it would be easier to have my husband eat anything I couldn’t. However, upon arrival, the staff proactively offered an alternative and changed my sashimi to miso-grilled spiny lobster. It was delicious, and we were deeply touched by their consideration. We would love to return once our baby is born.

I have been staying here for some time, and recently I always stay for three nights. Each time, the property is quiet and thoroughly cleaned throughout. The wonderful, delicious meals were excellent, and both the open-air bath and the large public bath were spotless. The background music was also pleasant. The Room has two rooms with a veranda, and it was the perfect size for just my spouse and me. The staff’s service was also good.

I had an exceptionally comfortable and luxurious stay. What impressed me most was the attentive, high-quality service from the staff. The sense of distance was just right, and every interaction reflected genuine hospitality, making my stay pleasant from start to finish. The Hotel has a calm, sophisticated atmosphere for adults—elegant yet never overly flashy—and feels like a wonderful space where time flows gently. The meals were also excellent, especially the vegetables. You could really taste the quality of the ingredients and how carefully their flavors were brought out, making even dining feel like a special experience. It was a memorable stay in every way—service, ambiance, and cuisine. This is a Hotel I would highly recommend for spending time with someone special or for taking a break from everyday life and relaxing at your own pace.

We traveled with our 8-month-old baby, and it was very reassuring to find everything we needed, including a formula kettle, water for preparing formula, and baby wipes. They also washed our bottles and spoons, adjusted mealtime for baby food, warmed it up for us, and were considerate in so many ways—it was a huge help. The room was spacious and spotless, and we really enjoyed the delicious baby meals as well as the in-room dining. Our assigned staff member was especially thoughtful; our baby got fussy during meals so dinner took longer than usual, but they adjusted their voice volume and the timing of serving dishes to accommodate us. Every staff member spoke kindly to our baby and frequently checked if we needed anything, which we truly appreciated. We were able to relax in the hot springs as a family and enjoy wonderful food—overall it was a fantastic trip. Thank you very much.

We were satisfied with everything—the free drinks, dinner, and breakfast. There were also five types of private open-air baths, and the instructions were easy to understand, which was wonderful. Most of the staff are from overseas, but everyone spoke Japanese very well, so we had no trouble at all and enjoyed a comfortable stay thanks to their polite service.

Perfect for a family of four! The views are spectacular—no doubt about it! The owner is a true gentleman—no doubt about it! As others have mentioned, the Room has a stylish scent (maybe from an air freshener?), and some guests may feel differently about it. Sing karaoke, dance, enjoy the Onsen, have a BBQ, take in the night view and the morning view—and check-out is at 13:00. We had a wonderful time!

I gave my elderly mother, who can go anywhere on her own, a solo trip as a gift. When she returned home, she was truly delighted and spoke very highly of the wonderful service provided by the Ryokan staff. The meals were also delicious, and above all, it seems she was able to relax completely. Thank you very much. There is a fully equipped grooming room, and the high-quality shampoo and conditioner were excellent—we were very satisfied. The view was disappointing due to dense fog and rain, but we had a great time playing in the covered dog run. We also received plenty of treats and food for our dogs, so we will definitely be back.

This was about my fourth visit, and it had been a while since the last time, but once again I had a thoroughly satisfying stay in every respect. As it was just the beginning of September, we were served dobin-mushi and matsutake mushroom rice, allowing us to enjoy the flavors of autumn a little early. Everything was delicious. The Room was spotless, and the entire property felt clean and well maintained. Above all, every staff member was polite and composed; meals were served at just the right time, and they always seemed to be attentively looking out for guests in a natural way. It made for a truly comfortable stay. Thank you very much.
