It’s not a new Hotel, but the amenities, choice of shampoos, and large public bath made for a comfortable stay. The location is also great. You can easily go out for drinks nearby.

There are an Onsen, a waterwheel soba restaurant, and a yakiniku izakaya within a 3-minute walk from the Hotel, so we had a very comfortable stay. The staff were also extremely courteous, and it made for a relaxing holiday. However, when we checked in and entered the Room, it was completely dark and we couldn’t find the light switch. We would have appreciated it if the blinds had been left slightly open.

When sightseeing in Yamagata, we stay at Symphony. Once again, the food was outstanding. The dishes are very thoughtfully crafted—the way the ingredients are brought out and seasoned is impressive. The combinations of items in the dinner course were also excellent. Each time, we can enjoy different dishes, and it feels like they are always evolving. We were also happy to have a wide variety of vegetables at breakfast.

I stayed here on a trip to Yamagata. It’s a comfortable distance from Yamagata Station, and walking there was not a problem at all. There’s also a convenience store nearby—about a 5-minute walk, based on my impression. The building and rooms aren’t luxurious, but everything was properly cleaned and the whole place felt very tidy. It was quiet enough for a restful stay, and I was able to relax comfortably. What I especially liked was the large public bath and sauna. Both were well maintained and clean, and I could use them comfortably, including the cold plunge pool. It was great for easing fatigue after sightseeing or long-distance driving. Sauna lovers should be satisfied as well. The staff were polite and helpful, which made the stay pleasant. Considering the reasonable price, I think it offers excellent value for money. This isn’t a Hotel for those seeking luxury, but if you want clean rooms at an affordable price and would like to relax quietly while enjoying the large public bath and sauna, I think it’s a very good Hotel. I’d like to stay here again if I have another chance to visit Yamagata.

We arrived at 11:30 PM, but we were able to check in without any issues, which was a great help. I’m glad we could rest well. Having a microwave on each floor was convenient.

A Hotel located on the upper floors of what may be the tallest building in Yamagata City. The front desk is on the 24th floor. First, the good points: This time I stayed in a single Room on the 19th floor, on the side with a panoramic view of the Zao mountain range. Many typical business hotels have small windows in single Rooms, but here the window is large and reaches almost up to the ceiling, which is great. Just zoning out and looking at the mountain scenery was soothing, and I felt relaxed at night and slept very well. I think the view from the Room is this Hotel’s best recommendation. At night I dimmed the lights and kept the curtains open until I got sleepy, lying on the bed while watching the moon. The sky feels so wide. I could also see Yamagata Station and the tracks right below, and occasionally watched trains passing by. You can hear only a faint bit of train noise, but it didn’t bother me at all. The disappointing points were that, as last time, Wi-Fi was so slow that it wouldn’t connect properly, so I gave up using this Hotel’s Wi-Fi. That’s why I rated its Facility 4 stars. Also—maybe it was someone next door—the door was being opened and closed very roughly. Every time it shut there was a huge bang and vibration that reached my Room repeatedly until around 11 p.m... When I opened/closed my own door it could be closed quietly, and I couldn’t hear any other noise from next door otherwise, so maybe I was just unlucky with neighbors this time. Overall, I had a comfortable stay. When I have business in Yamagata again, I’d like to stay at this Hotel again. It’s a Hotel I can recommend.

The double bed in this Hotel is spacious enough to maintain distance even when turning over, allowing for a comfortable sleep. Many chain hotels nowadays have beds that feel cramped for two people and rooms with minimal space, so I had resigned myself to that standard... The Room features a long table by the window, and most of the Rooms are located on higher floors, offering the bonus of enjoying the night view. The breakfast buffet includes local dishes like "Imoni" and everything was delicious. The Zao yogurt and fruits like Shine Muscat were also delightful.

There is a shared microwave and water available in the hallway. Since I checked in after having afternoon tea at 3:00, I prepared my own dinner. Breakfast was a very tasty buffet, and I tried every item. I would like to stay again.

I stayed in late May. This was my second visit. Since it was the off-season after the Obon holidays, I was able to stay at a very reasonable rate. I had heard that a large public bath and sauna opened in early June, and I was really looking forward to it. [Onsen (large public bath)] Just under 40°C [Cold bath] High 16°C to 17°C [Sauna] Around 90°C, with automatic löyly The large public bath is quite spacious, and since the sauna is new, it had a pleasant woody aroma. It’s also fairly hot, which I really enjoyed. The cold bath was nicely chilled, and I could relax in the outdoor air at the resting area. I did three sauna sets with cold baths and outdoor breaks, and spent a very fulfilling hour there. The sauna wasn’t crowded either, which was great. There are several restaurants along the road nearby, so I ate dinner and breakfast there. After the sauna, I relaxed for a while before going to bed. It felt like such a luxurious time. I slept soundly until morning. As for noise, it hardly bothered me at all. Since I used the large public bath, I didn’t use the Room bathroom. I’d love to stay again if I have another chance.

About 10 years ago, I stayed here when it was operating as a “weekly apartment,” and this time was my first stay in quite a while. While feeling nostalgic, I also had an extremely comfortable stay. ■ Outstanding hospitality Most impressive of all was the service from the female front desk staff member. Her explanations were very thorough, and she made check-in feel refreshing from the start. Although I work in customer service in a different industry, her attentive care and demeanor were so wonderful that I genuinely felt, “I want to learn from this.” ■ Cleanliness The Room was meticulously cleaned throughout—no dustiness and no unpleasant odors at all—spotlessly clean. The unit bath and toilet (no bidet seat installed) do feel dated as Facility features, but they are polished so well that it more than makes up for their age. Given Yamagata’s many excellent Onsen facilities nearby, if you plan to enjoy bathing outside, it’s not an issue at all. ■ Dining and location It was a little disappointing that the kitchen that used to be available is now unusable, but there are plenty of restaurants in the area. In particular, “Sakaeya Honten,” famous for hiyashi ramen (cold ramen), is right across the street—an unbeatable location! You won’t have any trouble finding somewhere to eat. ■ Advice for future guests Check-in hours are relatively tight (15:00–18:00). I recommend planning your schedule with plenty of buffer time. (They seem able to accommodate flexibly if you contact them in advance, but arriving early is safest.) I felt this is a very trustworthy Accommodation where older facilities are more than compensated for by careful cleaning and warm service. I would gladly stay again when visiting Yamagata.

Everything was excellent. I’d love to stay again, but unfortunately I don’t have any reason to visit Yamagata.

I came for work in a large vehicle and stayed here for the first time. The building is not new, but it is spacious, and the Room, unit bath, and toilet were extremely clean and comfortable. I would have found it easier to work if the Room lighting had been a bit brighter.

I stayed for two nights and was very satisfied. The Room was clean, and the Onsen is separated into areas for the general public and for guests; the Onsen itself is excellent. All staff are kind and courteous, and the meals were outstanding as well. I will definitely stay here again—absolutely.

The owner left a very positive impression with their friendliness. The Room was very spacious, allowing for a comfortable stay. The bathroom had a homely feel, similar to that of an ordinary household. We were grateful to stay at such a reasonable price during the Golden Week period.

The exterior and facilities, including the elevator, feel dated like an older Hotel, but the Room was very clean and spacious. The toilet also had plenty of space—something you would usually only get in a higher-grade Room at a newer Hotel. I was very satisfied. Great value for money. The parking area at the back is uneven, and the second parking lot is a bit far.

I stayed on June 18th for a business trip. The front desk service was excellent. The Room was clean. Breakfast was very delicious. It was my first time trying Yamagata's Imoni, and the flavor was wonderfully rich. I would love to stay here again if I come back for work.

Thank you for your help. My plans to go to Tsuruoka changed and I stayed in Yamagata instead, but I was able to make a Reservation right away, which was very helpful. The Room was non-smoking, clean, and well maintained. I appreciated the tea bags and was able to relax in the Room. The breakfast rice was delicious brown rice, and I felt great that day and could stay active. If possible, I wish there had been earplugs. I tried to be mindful not to disturb others with noise myself, but some sounds did bother me a little. Still, I had a very enjoyable trip in Yamagata. Thank you very much. I look forward to staying with you again.

The Onsen was excellent. Reasonably priced and the meals were decent, it's a Hotel I would like to visit again.

The Room and meals were both satisfactory. I would like to use it again if I have the chance.
