Tsuchifukai Station × Highly rated for dining at Hotel·Ryokan

I stayed here using the Akita Accommodation Campaign. The Onsen was excellent and warmed me up thoroughly. The sweets provided in the room were very tasty, so I bought some as souvenirs. The staff were also very helpful, and I would like to stay here again.

I stay here every time I come back home. The bath and breakfast are just right—always satisfying and relaxing. I’ll continue to stay here in the future.

I don't smoke, but the smoking room was well-maintained, so I could stay without any concerns.

This was my second stay in a Japanese-style Room. The walls between rooms seemed thin, but it was very quiet and comfortable, perhaps because there were no guests in the neighboring Room. I would like to stay here again.

I stayed here during a 3-night, 4-day Tohoku touring trip. The property is a bit old, but it was clean and the Room was spacious. The laundry was free, and only the detergent was paid, which was very helpful. Since there are places I couldn’t visit due to the rain, I’d like to stop by again.

Although the building is old, the interior has been thoughtfully renovated and is very comfortable! We stayed as a family of four, and both the bathroom and toilet were spotless, and the futons were fluffy! Since it’s right in front of the station, getting out and about was easy—we were really happy. The parking lot is also spacious. We come to Kazuno City every year, so we’ll stay here again.

The luxury of doing nothing. Gazing absentmindedly at the garden, soaking in the bath while looking out at the garden. Enjoying a massage, then having an exquisite Japanese meal served in the Room at dinner time. Gazing absentmindedly at the illuminated garden at night. Cleansing in the bath and going to bed by 9 p.m. Waking up in the middle of the night and looking out at the garden—wonderful as well. I had such a great time overall. Breakfast while looking out at the garden, with beautiful weather—it couldn’t have been better. I’ll be back again.

You can enjoy a 24-hour onsen with natural hot spring water flowing directly from the source! The room was a renovated twin room, and the sunken kotatsu was an interesting feature. The beds were fluffy and very comfortable, making for a pleasant stay! For dinner, we had the famous Kiritanpo hot pot served individually in small pots, along with shabu-shabu featuring Kazuno beef and Hachimantai pork—everything was delicious! As mentioned in reviews, there were plenty of options, leaving us fully satisfied. There was also a wide selection of local sake available for tasting. After check-out, I realized I had forgotten something, but they contacted me immediately so I could retrieve it. I truly appreciate their kind assistance! Thank you very much.

Since there was a group reservation, we were told that breakfast would be served from 7 AM. When we informed them that we needed to leave the Hotel by 7 AM, we were reluctantly given meal tickets for 6 AM, but were warned twice, "There is no guarantee that a seat will be available." There was no information about the Onsen, so when we asked at the front desk, we were given a key and a women's passcode and were told, "Men will be coming in, so please lock the door. Men will be coming in!" I thought they could have chosen their words a bit more carefully in both cases. When I returned the key after leaving the Onsen, I heard loud laughter coming from the back of the front desk. These points concerned me. Breakfast was not as crowded as expected, and we had no issues enjoying it. There was a wide variety and it was delicious.

Tucked away in a tranquil mountain setting that’s hard to believe is only about a 15-minute drive from central Odate, the view from the open-air bath was wonderfully calming. The building itself feels older, but the guest room was very clean and seemed to have been renovated.
