I found this Facility on IKYU and liked it so much that I made a Reservation. Just as expected, I thoroughly enjoyed the Facility, the meals, and the Onsen (ceramic bath). During a conversation with the staff at dinner, we talked about Hachimantai’s Dragon Eye. They told me they had gone there after borrowing rental boots and that it was wonderful. So I went the next day right away. Like Zao Okama last year, I was moved by the breathtaking scenery. It was a truly great stay—enjoying both the magnificent nature and the delicious meals at the Facility. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

We stayed with No Meals Included, but we were able to enjoy complimentary late-night ochazuke. The broth was rich and very delicious. There were three of us, and since the washing area for the private open-air bath was a separate shower booth, we ended up taking turns one by one. However, the Onsen itself and the mist shower were both very pleasant. Next time, we’d like to stay again with meals included!

Thank you for taking care of us on our mountain trip. From our room we could see Mt. Iwate, and from the open-air bath we enjoyed views of Hachimantai, Mt. Chausu, Maemoriyama, and Nishimoriyama—the location was wonderful and truly relaxing. Every dish was delicious, lightly seasoned and easy to enjoy; the Iwate beef roast beef and the wild grape curry were especially outstanding. The staff were kind and attentive, and we could really feel their love for the hotel and their hospitality toward guests. We rated it 4 points because the lotion provided in the bath area wasn’t very good, and since the entrances to the men’s and women’s baths look the same, several people almost went into the wrong one.

We had a truly wonderful stay. Not only the Room, but also the bathroom and balcony were spacious, allowing us to relax at ease. The hinoki bathtub had a lovely fragrance, and the public bath was just the right size for unwinding comfortably. We enjoyed delicious offerings during afternoon tea and aperitif time, and the Western-style dinner made excellent use of quality ingredients with wonderful seasoning—every dish was satisfying. We would love to visit again just for this dining experience. Thanks to the attentive service from the staff, we truly felt this is a superb Hotel. Thank you very much.

There was a complimentary drink service next to the front desk, and our children were very happy with it. The hotel also had plenty of kid-friendly facilities, such as a stamp rally and an arcade, which was really helpful. In particular, there was a great selection of books on the shelves, including many children’s books, which we appreciated. The meals also featured plenty of seasonal ingredients and were easy to enjoy. The hot spring bath area was spacious and convenient to use. We would definitely like to visit again.

I went with modest expectations because the dinner buffet offered all-you-can-eat crab, but it exceeded them. There were surprisingly large crab legs, pork and beef shabu-shabu, and teppanyaki. It also included all-you-can-drink beer and local sake, which delighted my wife, who loves both crab and drinks.\nThe Onsen was excellent. The Room was old, but the tatami mats had been replaced, so we stayed comfortably.\nI would love to visit again during the autumn foliage season.

We visited to celebrate my mother’s birthday and stayed in a Japanese-Western style room in the Rindo Wing, bringing her rollator walker. We enjoyed wine, tea, and even ice cream at the welcome drink corner in front of the front desk. Our room was placed near the elevator, and it was very clean, spacious, and had a great view. We could see the expressway nearby, and the moon was beautiful at night. There was also a water dispenser and a pot for water in the hallway, which made our stay very comfortable. There were 10 steps down to the hot spring baths, but she was able to move slowly while holding onto the handrail. The hot spring water quality was excellent—it warmed us up wonderfully! At dinner, since it was her birthday, each family member received one complimentary drink. The staff who served us also congratulated her, which made us very happy. Thank you very much! There was a wide variety of dishes and we were completely full—especially the kamameshi rice pot dish, which was delicious. The breakfast buffet also had many options and we were satisfied. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

We stayed here on an autumn foliage trip from Lake Tazawa toward Hachimantai. We had originally planned a day trip, but the location was convenient and the price was reasonable, so we decided to stay overnight. The international staff were kind and attentive, the sukiyaki dinner was delicious, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes—we were very satisfied. It felt like we could stay for just the cost of meals and the hot spring bath, making it an excellent value. We would like to stay here again when traveling to the Hachimantai area.

We received many joyful photos of our grandchildren, and my spouse and I are extremely satisfied. The friendliness of the international staff seemed to double the fun, which made us very happy. Thank you very much!
