Opened in 1902. Located deepest within the Nyuto Onsen area. Surrounded by majestic mountains, we have protected these precious natural hot springs for generations. Our Onsen facilities include separate indoor baths for men and women, a mixed-gender indoor bath, and a mixed-gender open-air bath. There are three different spring sources. You can enjoy three distinct types of Onsen. Magoroku Onsen Rokuan is a rare village-style Ryokan, with buildings separated into individual lodges. It may not feel luxurious in every way, but because you will often step outside, you can experience Magoroku’s great nature directly. The stillness of summer nights, the beauty of the morning sun, and the cool breeze. There are experiences and moments of awe that can only be found here. We have six Rooms in total; each Room accommodates up to two guests for a relaxing stay. Our dining area is counter-style and is the only place where all guests gather at once. A Ryokan that connects nature and people—and brings people together as well.

Experience one of the hidden hot springs, Nyuto Seven Onsen, surrounded by a beech forest. Enjoy two natural Onsen, Nyuto Onsen and Tazawako Kogen Onsen, in both indoor and open-air baths. The open-air bath, encircled by beech trees, offers a forest bathing-like experience, bringing deep relaxation. For dinner, indulge in a buffet of approximately 40 dishes featuring Akita's specialty cuisine, filled with local flavors to your satisfaction. Unique activity programs exclusive to Kyukamura are available, including the "Beech Forest Walking" during the summer season, where you can breathe in the fresh, clean air.

At the foot of Mt. Akita-Komagatake, Tazawako Kogen is surrounded by crisp, clear air. Our Hotel is located just before you enter Nyuto Onsenkyo, along the single road that climbs from Lake Tazawa toward Mt. Akita-Komagatake. Enjoy 100% natural Onsen hot spring water flowing directly from the source in our rustic open-air bath and large public bath. Inside the Hotel, we feature the Tazawako area’s first attraction: “One of the largest in any Hotel! Trick Art Street!!” showcasing trick art inspired by Akita Prefecture. *Day-use bathing is suspended until further notice.*

Established over 100 years ago, our inn offers a serene retreat by the shores of Lake Tazawa, reflecting the beauty and flavors of Akita through every season. The interiors are adorned with the warmth of Akita cedar, lighting inspired by Akita butterbur, and traditional craftsmanship such as "magewappa" woodwork. Dinner is served in private dining rooms for all guests. Savor a meticulously crafted kaiseki meal featuring local delicacies such as A5-grade Akita beef, signature kiritanpo hot pot, and rare simmered Kinki fish. While meals are not provided, there is a variety of delicious snacks like prosciutto and smoked platters.
