A new Accommodation, “Gensen Ichizu,” is opening in the renowned Onsen town of Oshuku Onsen, with over 450 years of history, dedicated wholeheartedly to the power of its natural hot spring source. Enjoy an indoor bath and open-air bath with abundant water—about 50°C and 300 liters per minute—offered as true free-flowing hot spring water: no added water, no heating, no filtration, and no recirculation. The silky texture and gentle feel unique to this alkaline simple Onsen leave your skin smooth and refreshed. Guest rooms feature a Japanese-modern design with warm wood accents and calm tones (57 rooms total). Morning and evening buffets showcase Iwate’s seasonal flavors, including an impressive tuna carving show and a chance to try the local specialty “Wanko Soba.” From bathing to dining to thoughtful experiences, we deliver a one-of-a-kind hot spring source experience for all five senses—with unwavering dedication.

Yumori Hotel Taikan boasts the largest hot spring bath in Northeast Tohoku, with a total length of 25 meters and 100% natural hot spring water.
