“Sawando” means “a place where rivers meet.” In December 1998, Onsen water was brought to this area—long used as a gateway to Kamikochi—and Sawando Onsen was born. Our inn opened five years later, in July 2003. Surrounded by mountains and little else, Keiryuso Shiorie warmly welcomes you. "Yamasato no Iori Soen" is a restored traditional Hida farmhouse originally built in the late Edo period.
