Around Tōchō Temple × Highly rated for dining at Hotel·Ryokan

I had admired this Hotel for a long time, and this time I finally decided to stay. I was delighted by an unexpected Room upgrade, and soaking in the bathtub at a relaxed pace soothed my flight fatigue, leaving me feeling more energized each day (haha). While other Hotels are becoming more simplified, your wonderful hospitality reminded me, “Yes—this is what a Hotel should be like,” and I truly hope you will continue to carry it forward. Thanks to you, everything I needed to do went smoothly, and I’m grateful for the great environment you provided. It was truly a happy time! Thank you very much. I look forward to visiting again.

Conveniently located next to Hakata Station, making it very easy to get around, and the large public bath (Onsen) was better than expected, so I had a very comfortable stay. It was disappointing and confusing that there was a small issue at check-in (I couldn’t Check Reservation on the self check-in machine). The staff handled it well, and I had a great trip.

This is my favorite Hotel that I always stay at least one night when traveling to Fukuoka. The rooms feel a bit small, but they are clean and the location is very convenient. The view from the open-air bath in the large public bath was great, and I was very satisfied again this time. During this stay with my baby, they even prepared adorable baby amenities, which made me very happy. I truly appreciate such thoughtful attention to detail. Although the breakfast selection seemed slightly reduced compared to a few years ago and was a bit disappointing, it is still an excellent Hotel overall that makes me want to stay again.

The breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and everything was delicious. I also appreciated the late-night soba and the complimentary ice cream after the bath, and it was great to have an Onsen as well. It made me want to stay at other Dormy Inn locations too.

It was in a great location, close to Hakata Station, with convenience stores and popular restaurants nearby. The Room wasn’t very large, but it was nice. The bathroom and toilet were separate, so I could relax and enjoy a comfortable bath. I could hear hallway noise, voices, and some rattling sounds from the neighboring Room (maybe doors opening and closing?), which bothered me a bit, but that was about it. The lobby drinks were also much appreciated!

Conveniently located near Hakata Station. The Room was spacious, and it was comfortable even for three people. The breakfast buffet featured dishes made with Kyushu ingredients, and the steamer basket had dim sum. All of the main dishes looked delicious, so it was hard to choose. Thank you for the wonderful meal. The front desk staff were also friendly and welcoming with a smile. I would like to stay here again next time.

I stayed here to see a show at Canal City Theater. It was very convenient, just a short walk away. The interior was modern and clean, with a pleasant feel. The room size was more than sufficient for the price, and having a large public bath was a great plus. They also provided a bag for going to the bath—minimal yet thoughtfully attentive service. The breakfast buffet had an excellent selection, and even the mini tonkotsu ramen came in its own bowl and was delicious. It’s always nice to enjoy local specialties!

Just one stop from Hakata, about a 4–5 minute walk from Gion Station Exit 2. Carrying a heavy suitcase up the stairs was tough, but once inside the Hotel it was cool and comfortable, and it was great to be able to rest with the free drinks on the first floor. Nakasu’s yatai food stalls are also within walking distance, and there are nearby attractions like Kushida Shrine and some delicious ramen shops. The Room was clean, and there is a large public bath where I could relax in the tub. However, when I went to the bath after midnight it was crowded. Since visiting the yatai can make it late, I would appreciate it if bathing hours were extended until 2:00 a.m. on weekends. Breakfast had a wide variety of dishes, including Kyushu-style options, and everything was very tasty! I’d love to stay here again next time I visit Hakata.

Some areas inside the Hotel felt a bit dated. This is a matter of preference, but I wished there had been a pleasant fragrance throughout the Hotel. In the club lounge, the group next to us got into an argument, which was distracting and spoiled the atmosphere, which was disappointing. It seemed to be the same group, but I also hoped they would be more considerate about wearing strong perfume in the dining area.

I chose this hotel for my first trip to Hakata because it has convenient access from Fukuoka Airport, is close to the station, and has a large public bath. All of the staff were polite and kind. I had sent my luggage ahead of time, and they brought it to me at check-in, and when I accidentally left without my card key, they handled it with a smile. The Room was spacious and very clean. There were separate slippers for the public bath and disposable slippers for use in the Room, which helped me relax. There were also plenty of restaurants and food stalls nearby for dinner, making it easy to get around at night. It was a very satisfying trip.

The Room, amenities, and service were all excellent. The lobby atmosphere was wonderful. Please let me stay again the next time I visit Hakata!

I wasn’t sure until the very last minute whether I could make it due to health concerns, but I’m so glad I was able to come. Thank you very much for all your help and kindness, everyone on the staff. For me, everything about this Hotel is perfect. I truly look forward to visiting again. Until then, I hope to improve my health so I can come without any worries. Thank you again.

Clean, compact, and functional Hotel. Overall, it seems popular among young guests, especially groups of women. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe staying here. The brown rice burger for breakfast was delicious.

The only disappointment was the air conditioning. The Room was a bit hot, and I wanted to lower the temperature, but only heating was available. Other than that, everything was great. It’s a Hotel I’d like to stay at again.

Near the Hakata Station bus terminal, it was easy to get around even on rainy days. The large public bath was also comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet with options that suited both Japanese and Western tastes, and the morning curry was delicious. They also stored our luggage before check-in and after check-out, so I recommend it for anyone looking for a hotel close to the station.

This is a very comfortable Hotel. I would like to stay here again when I visit Fukuoka. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

The Facility honestly feels a bit retro. There’s only one elevator, you leave an old-style key at the front desk, the air conditioning is centralized with simple H/L buttons, and the shower uses a mixer tap with no temperature setting… but everything was kept quite clean. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were pleasant. For breakfast you can choose Japanese or Western; I chose Japanese, and you can get refills of rice, miso soup, natto, and drinks. The Saikyo-style grilled salmon was especially delicious. With Hotel prices rising these days, I really appreciated being able to stay at a reasonable rate with breakfast included despite being close to Hakata Station and Gion Station.

This was my second stay. The lounge was not crowded as it often is, so I was able to relax. Personally, even if there is a large public bath, I rarely feel like going down from the top floor to use it, but I think this Hotel offers more than enough excellent Facilities.

The sauna has a TV, and the temperature is just right—absolutely fantastic! The cold plunge is also at the perfect temperature, so comfortable you won’t want to leave either the sauna or the cold bath!

This was my second stay. The property was thoroughly cleaned, and the building was new and spotless. In particular, the front desk service was excellent, and the staff were well trained. It is a Hotel I am glad I stayed at. I plan to Reserve again for a third stay.
