"Nazuna Kyoto Gosho" is a luxurious Ryokan that opened in February 2019, featuring seven rooms within two large renovated Kyo-machiya townhouses. The property retains elements of its past as a timber shop, such as the beams running across the high ceilings and beautifully decorated fittings, while offering a unique blend of modern interiors themed around different traditional Japanese sweets in each room. Guests can enjoy a distinctive accommodation experience that embodies the harmonious coexistence of old and new, unique to Kyoto.The luxury-type rooms are equipped with open-air or semi-open-air baths facing private gardens, while the deluxe-type rooms feature spacious indoor bathtubs. After check-in, guests are welcome to freely use the "Irori Lounge," where complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are served alongside light snacks.
