Thanks to the Diamond member benefit, we received a Room upgrade. The moment we stepped inside, the space was so generous that I couldn’t help but say, “Wow.” The interior was consistently styled with a Kyoto-inspired Japanese aesthetic, creating a wonderfully calm atmosphere. The indirect lighting was thoughtfully designed, and the Room felt especially lovely at night. The tableware included beautiful, like-new pieces from Noritake and HARIO. My personal favorite was the bath salts—soaking in the tub while surrounded by natural aromas was truly relaxing. Breakfast was delicious, and having it delivered to our Room made everything feel effortless. Rather than a Hotel stay, it felt like relaxing in a private residence. This time we stayed for one night, but it’s an Accommodation where I’d love to enjoy a Multiple Night Stay at a slower pace. All staff were polite and kind, which made us feel at ease. I would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

The room was spotless and well prepared, and the staff’s greetings when welcoming us and seeing us off left a great impression. I was surprised by the level of service provided at this price. It’s conveniently located within walking distance of downtown areas such as Kawaramachi, with easy access to Kyoto Station. We visited by car this time, and there are many parking lots nearby, making it convenient for drivers as well. I think this Accommodation offers excellent value in terms of price, service, and location. I would like to stay again.

My third stay. For me, Ace Hotel Kyoto has become a destination in itself. In addition to the excellent access with direct connection to Karasuma Oike Station, I’m always impressed by the staff’s warm smiles, thoughtful attention to every detail, and the peaceful quiet of the Room—so silent you don’t hear a thing. It’s a Hotel that makes me want to stay forever. To all the staff, thank you as always for your heartfelt hospitality. I look forward to staying with you again on my next trip to Kyoto.

I think this Accommodation is perfect for a stay during the Gion Festival. I also enjoyed both the Italian and Japanese cuisine. Watching a maiko dance during my stay became a wonderful memory—thank you very much. It seems that, in exchange for opening the lounge, the drinks in the refrigerator have been limited to mineral water only. However, because the lounge has short opening hours, it was not very convenient. I usually stay at Hiramatsu-level Accommodations, but this was the first time I had to buy sparkling mineral water at a convenience store during my stay. That said, it is still a great Accommodation, and I would be happy to stay again.

It was a wonderful Hotel. The staff’s hospitality was outstanding, and the location was very convenient. Afternoon tea and the evening cocktail hour were excellent, including light snacks. The large public bath was also great. When I come to Kyoto again, I would love to stay here again. Thank you very much for your kind hospitality.

Although I live in Kyoto City, I chose this Hotel because I wanted to enjoy an Onsen and a delicious breakfast close by without traveling far. The result was a truly wonderful stay that left me completely satisfied and thinking, “I definitely want to come back!” The cute yet elegant, almost overseas-like atmosphere lifted my spirits the moment I arrived. The door leading to the guest Room floors requires you to tap your Room key card, which felt secure and luxurious. I also enjoyed the organic drip coffee in my Room as a welcome drink, and it instantly made me feel relaxed and happy. As for the Onsen—what a treat! I enjoyed it three times: in the evening, before bed, and again in the morning. I was especially delighted by the complimentary beer service at the spa lounge available with bathing until 6:00 p.m. I drank about half in the lounge and took the rest back to my Room; enjoying it while watching Kyoto’s cityscape shift from dusk into neon-lit night through the window was simply perfect. What impressed me most during this stay was breakfast! When entering the venue, as soon as the receptionist greeted me cheerfully, all of the staff inside welcomed me with “Good morning,” which instantly made me feel excited. Even though I was dining alone, their thoughtful hospitality felt warm, and I remained comfortable throughout. Every dish—Japanese and Western—was truly delicious. From freshly made dashimaki tamago prepared by the chef to Kyoto-style obanzai side dishes and detox water, I enjoyed sampling many different items little by little. Their smart service—quietly clearing empty plates each time I stood up—was also very pleasant, and before I knew it, an hour had passed as I savored breakfast. This may have been one of the most satisfying breakfasts I've ever had. Since checkout is at 11:00 a.m., it was also a great memory being able to visit nearby Rokkakudo Temple after breakfast. This is truly a treasure of a Hotel—easy to reach by public transportation, with high-quality Onsen facilities and an outstanding breakfast that leaves you feeling refreshed. I'd love to recommend it to friends around me, and I'll definitely be back myself! Thank you for such a lovely time.

In addition to 24-hour lobby service with coffee and cold tea, we also enjoyed wine from 15:00 to 20:00 and shaved ice, which was a very thoughtful touch. The location was extremely convenient for getting anywhere, and since it’s right by Exit 1, we really appreciated not having to walk far to the station in the summer heat. We would definitely love to stay again.

Great location with easy access—close to both the station and the bus stop. Both the Facility and the Room are new and spotless. You can eat and drink in the lounge 24 hours a day, and there are plenty of board games that kids will love. The front desk staff also provided excellent service— nothing to complain about!!! I’ll definitely stay here again when I travel to Kyoto!! This time it was just my son and me, so it felt very spacious, but for a family of four it might be a bit tight. Next time we’re four, I’ll choose a suite room.

Although it’s part of the Hyatt group, there’s no excessive service, which actually makes it more comfortable. You bring necessary items such as toner and bath towels to your room from in front of the 1st-floor front desk, and I support this effort to reduce unnecessary waste. There is no dedicated parking lot, but there is a coin-operated parking area along the local road on the annex side. When loading and unloading luggage from the car, it was helpful that there was little traffic. The disappointing part is the coffee service. I use it every year when I stay, but there always seems to be some kind of issue—such as the machine not working properly or running out of milk. Overseas guests also seemed confused about how to use it. It might be better to switch to a simpler machine like those at convenience stores. I also feel sorry for the front desk staff having to deal with problems with the machine.

The station and a convenience store were both very close by, which was really helpful. The room felt more spacious than expected, with calming modern colors, and everything was very clean, making for a comfortable stay. I also appreciated the wide selection of amenities available at the front desk. It’s rare to see corn soup among the drink options, and it was nice to have something slightly salty to choose from. Overall, I felt it offered excellent value for money. I had booked a Plan without breakfast, but when I returned to the Hotel around lunchtime to pick up my luggage, I noticed they offered lunch. It came with salad, dessert, and coffee at a reasonable price, and I could enjoy my meal at a relaxed pace—it felt like a great deal. I’d definitely like to stay again if I have the chance.

Thank you again for your hospitality. Just three stops from Kyoto Station and also close to Karasuma Oike, it’s convenient yet quiet and comfortable. There are complimentary drinks, and alcohol is available at certain times. I’d be even happier if there were some Kyoto-style tea as well! I’ll be back again!

About a week ago, I found this place on IKYU. Within the same budget range, this Hotel had by far the most spacious Room, and I chose it because the breakfast-included Plan is rare in that breakfast can be delivered to your Room. After checking in and arriving at my Room, it was indeed generously sized; the toilet was separate, and the bathroom had a washing area. The black-toned interior felt luxurious, and the amenities were well stocked—I really liked it. It’s a bit of a walk from the nearest station, so carrying my suitcase in the extreme heat was tiring, but it was a Hotel that made me want to stay again in Kyoto, which I love.

I booked with No Meals Included and didn’t expect too much for the price, but it exceeded my expectations in the best way. First, the front desk staff were incredibly courteous and impressive. The Room was spacious, spotless, and came with a bathtub. While the public bath isn’t large enough to be called a big bathhouse, it was perfect for soaking slowly in warm water. I honestly found myself thinking, “Is it really okay to stay here on a weekend for this price?”—almost feeling guilty. This time I didn’t add breakfast due to my plans the next day, but it looked very delicious. When we stopped by in the evening to pick up our stored luggage, you kindly lent us towels because we were soaked from a sudden heavy downpour. From start to finish, it was truly a Hotel full of outstanding hospitality. Thank you very much.

It had been a while since I last stayed at this brand’s Hotel, and I was satisfied. First, the location: it is convenient, yet not in a noisy area. The Room size, Facility features and amenities, and the staff’s service were all excellent. Check-in was smooth, and the hospitality—such as welcome drinks—was also great. The price was appropriate, and I feel I received an experience well worth it.

I’ve tried several nearby Business Hotels, but this Hotel offers the best value for the price, and it has recently become my regular choice. As others have mentioned, all the staff are pleasant and welcoming. Soundproofing is also decent. Personally, I like that there is a water dispenser on each floor (instead of complimentary bottled water), disposable slippers are provided, the shower water pressure is strong, and the roller shade plus curtains can completely block outside light (since I tend to wake up late). Also, while many Business Hotels have a 10:00 check-out time, this one is 11:00. I’d like to thank the staff for supporting such a comfortable stay.

I stayed not for sightseeing, but simply to unwind in the Room. The spacious, white-toned Room felt calm and relaxing; even with the lights dimmed for a greyish ambiance, it was still bright enough. I brought my Kindle and enjoyed reading with tea at a leisurely pace. It never felt cramped, there was nothing overly flashy or unnecessary, and nothing was lacking. Even down to each amenity, the concept feels thoroughly consistent. The large bath was also wonderful—overall, it was perfect for staying in the Room and truly relaxing. There was an issue with the hair dryer, but when I requested a replacement late at night, they responded immediately, which I really appreciated. The Jurlique basic skincare set is a nice touch for women. The loungewear is comfortable as well, and I felt you could pack extremely light without any trouble. Breakfast (Western-style) remains excellent as always, and I’m grateful it can be served in the Room. There are many Accommodations out there, but I’ll return when I want to get away from everyday noise and take things slow. Overall, I was extremely satisfied. Next time, I’m planning a Multiple Night Stay of doing absolutely nothing but relaxing indoors.

Overall, we had a comfortable stay. Our trip was almost entirely centered around staying in this house, and the more we looked at the interior design and furnishings, the more we noticed—so it was really enjoyable. However... The floors and tables were very clean, but we found hair inside the hair dryer storage case in the bathroom, and also hair and dust inside a kitchen utensil drawer. I couldn’t see clearly, but it also seemed like there was something above the toilet ceiling (a bug? a clump of dust?). There was also something like a piece of packing material left in the garden. Since it’s an entire house, I imagine it’s quite difficult to keep everything perfectly clean. Because the building itself is something you want to admire, you end up looking closely everywhere and noticing these things. It didn’t cause major discomfort, but I do think paying closer attention to small details would make the stay feel much more pleasant.

The front desk staff were very courteous, so I had a very pleasant stay. When I arrived, I was irritated by the heat, and I feel sorry for having acted that way. The Room and other areas were well cleaned, which made everything feel fresh and comfortable.

Located in a quiet area, it was a relaxing stay. I was worried about finding parking, but there were several parking spaces nearby. The Room was spacious enough for resting, and with the bath and toilet being separate, I could enjoy soaking in the tub. However, due to insufficient checking of amenities, I had to go out to buy items like body towels and lotion. It would be good to check these in advance. Since I visit Kyoto regularly, I would like to stay here again.
