Around Hagi Castle Town × Zen-Inspired AccommodationRecommended Hotel·Ryokan

— Stay as if you live here — About a 7-minute walk from the Hagi Castle Town. After a day of sightseeing, return to a quiet street and let the memories linger. This is a private, whole-house rental Accommodation limited to one group per day. This home was once a cherished place where family members living apart gathered every year. Carrying on that warmth, we have prepared it not as a “travel destination,” but as another place to call home. Wake up in bed with morning light streaming in, spend the day strolling through the castle town and Kikugahama Beach, and share stories at night in a tatami room. Rather than “touring” Hagi, stay in Hagi. Step away from your busy routine and enjoy the slow rhythm of castle-town life.

Opened in Horiuchi, Hagi City, as the first one-building-rental Hotel in Japan located on the site of a former domain school. The Property is situated on the grounds where the Choshu domain school "Meirinkan" once stood, where Yoshida Shoin served as an instructor and gave lectures. The Horiuchi area, where the Property is located, is designated as a "Traditional Buildings Preservation District," preserving remnants of the old castle town to this day. Feel the history of this land where great figures of the past once walked, with its stone walls and winding streets. Enjoy a relaxing stay while admiring the seasonal changes of the garden trees.
